(0:17) "the qualities Americans associate with leadership: charisma, fortitude, decisiveness." -- This particular American only considers one of those qualities to be a key characteristic of leadership. Myself, I believe that it's more important for a leader to be prudent and thoughtful than charismatic or decisive. Actually, charisma, in my opinion, is a dangerously double-edged personality trait, one I associate with recklessness, superficiality, and manipulativeness -- hardly ideal attributes in a leader.
