I know it was done in a Halo 2 cutscene, but seeing an entire Marathon Heavy Cruiser being gutted by a single excavation beam strike still just hurts so much. Edit: Didn't notice the radio chatter claiming it as a Halcyon. Nvm.

So, you send a whole fleet agaisnt a foe that you clearly need to have a 30/1 advantage to win but the foe has almost the same size as yours.

And we don't even see UNSC ships firing missiles or taking down covenants ships, just them being massacred.

Well, notice that even with that the UNSC won the battle, they were the only ones to reach the halo.

30/1???? Isn’t it 3/1 Not saying that your point is invalid but it’s not anywhere near that bad of odds, at least not when it’s down to the average UNSC vs average Covenant ship. Idk about super carriers like the one in this episode that gets rammed into

The show really nerfed the Covenant Ship which was unparalleled and superior in both capability and firepower compared to the UNSC Ships in the Games, the same Covenant Ship/Fleets that almost wiped out the entire UNSC Fleet every battle until the UNSC developed shielding and better ships at the height of the Human-Covenant War. In games, Covenant ships can dish out all their weapons at any Human ship from their 1 hit OP Plasma Lances to their, Armor Melting Plasma Beam Emitters, to their infamous Damage Dealer Plasma Torpedoes, and offensive-defensive Pulse Laser Turrets, while with their strong energy shielding technology protecting their ships and withstanding almost all Human Mac Weapon during the early years of the Human-Covenant War. Meanwhile, in the show, Covenant Ships fired little to none unlike in the games meanwhile UNSC Fleet had gained a winning advantage dispete their 2v1 number disparity.

Maybe it would be the show which is scientifically reasonable. The plasma bunch is not a good method to ablate materials. The X-ray, energy projector in this case, would be the better option to destroy ships instead. Of course I don’t think they’ve considered these scientific backgrounds😅😅

Unsc vessels that can exit from slipspace in formation and in eye range of the target? In the books this level of precision is for covenant only, hunans have to jump and have an entire solar system of range for their exit point

Sadly, the show that we got is one of the worst pieces of crap ever put to screen. Even if you watch that show without knowing anything about Halo, it is a disaster.

@@Cailus3542 this piece of crap is still better narrated than halo . remind you 90% of game halo is just a silent guy listening to an Ai and a black sergent who is only interested because he speak the hood's way all the time . you are like foreigners having stomach issues drinking new waters . you are not used to more advanced method of narration in your favorite bland stories. halo is cool but only on its in between missions cinematics where we can count Master chief only talking like 20 times only in all first 3 games if not less
