You need to watch a documentary about the Springbok team and where they come from, it's called Chasing the Sun. Its absolutely brilliant!! I highly recommend you watch it. You will understand what drives the Springboks. Keep up the great reactions.

Kurt-Lee surname is the Afrikaans word for Eagle, which suits him perfectly because he really does fly

These are our boys! Proud of them and the Springboks. FYI carrying the ball over the opponents line and grounding it under control gives your team 5 points and a kick at posts. If the kick is successful over the cross bar and between the posts that's an additional two points and it's called a converted try. So a converted try is 7 points while unconverted try (where the ball wasn't kicked over the cross bar between the upright poles) obviously remains five points. A penalty that is kicked over is three points. A drop kick, where the ball is dropped to the ground and kicked as it bounces up off the ground, is also three points. A penalty out of range of the poles can either be a scrum(the captain of the team receiving the penalty decides what to do) or kicked to the side lines where it's in touch. The kicking side then gets to throw in at the lineout and generally try to mall it over the opponents line or they have a planned backline move to get it over. Rugby is the best and greatest game ever invented! You should try it out!

Mapimpi became the 1st Springbok to score a try(touchdown in American Football) in a rugby world cup final, which was in 2019 against England, Cheslin also scored becoming the second, something Bryan Habana unfortunately couldn't achieve since he only ever competed in one RWC final in 07, which we won also against England. (Interesting story, the Springboks won the rugby world cup in 07 against England when i started my school career, they won it again in my final year of highschool also against England in 2019. You got Kurt-lee's surname right, sometimes the reactors should just listen to the commentators but most don't lol Pronounce his name like this "A-rend-se" you got the rest right

A try (touch down) is 5 points, after which it can be converted into 2 extra points by kicking through the poles where the ball was placed down to score, if successful, it'll bring the total to 7, then there's penalty and drop goal kicks worth 3 points....

There is also a penalty try =7 points. This occurs when the opposition infringes by a penalty that prevents the scoring team from scoring a try. The punishment is both a try and conversion.

@@pumkineater7219 yeah I wanted to type that as well....but it's quite rare....I remember a Romanian defender caused a penalty try with the automatic conversion being included against his team in the RWC against South Africa 🇿🇦 (us)

You keep on saying that they are "a South African team". They are "THE" South African team, they're SA's national team, but the players play for franchises/clubs when they're not playing for the Boks, the 4 big SA franchises are: Stormers, Bulls, Sharks, Lions, but there are a ton more SA teams, those 4 teams play in the URC, an intercontinental club competition. SA have won 4 World Cups: 1995, 2007, 2019, 2023, the WC is every 4 years.

SBs only entered 8 World Cups...ABs played 10. other major rugby nations hv also played in 10 WCs...but SBs hv still won most number of WCs..they won 4...that's more than any other nation😅
