The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, which dominates over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie and Jin households. The carefree Wei Wuxian becomes fast friends with the righteous Lan Wangji, and during their adventures, the pair find out that the head of the Wen clan is the evil mastermind behind a series of plots that would wreak havoc upon the lands.
Wei Wuxian’s attempts to protect the innocent members of the Wen clan from unfair persecution leads to disaster, and he goes MIA in the process. Wei Wuxian reappears sixteen years later, and works together with good friend Lan Wangji to solve a series of murder mysteries, eventually finding and defeating the true culprit. Based on the Moxiang Tongxiu's novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.

Wang Yibo is a rapper and dancer. He debuted as a rapper first. So thats why his singing isn't up to Xiao Zhan's level. Xiao Zhan on the other hand debuted as a singer.

It's not my first Chinese drama. I started from love 0 20 of yang yang but after the untamed I still not seen any drama. 3 months passed I am till do not passes on to the untamed drama. Some thing is there may be the reel or real life affection of yb and xz, the melodious music of drama and melodious voices of these two singers.

It’s amazing how perfect they are vocally, they embodies their characters! Yi Bo’s soft subtle tones, mixed with Xiao Zhan’s clear, bold, and confident declarations! I don’t think ANYONE could perform this as good as they did. They also owned their roles in the series. I’m so in love with them. Not in a lusty way, just that they take up a huge spot in my heart lately. I can’t get enough...

@@suchitranaphuket7701 right? The more I watch, the more I’m drawn emotionally to Yibo’s portrayal! Xiao Zhan was amazing and it’s so easy to be in love with Wei Wuxian. Now it’s hard to see certain clips of Lan Wangji on social media without a lump in my throat. Crazy... I’m not exactly a young lady here. 😹 I bought the series. Sadly the quality isn’t as good as the streaming sites. But I’m pleased to have it. I don’t know that I’ll ever “get over it” 😒😹

I can say this was the best drama that I had ever watched. (Now I can die peacefully lol) There's something in this drama which doesn't allow you to move on. The actors did a great job to portray their emotions. The chemistry between WWX and LWJ was so beautiful, even without any physical affection we could literally feel the love between them. I felt so sad when the drama was over, I cried for some time. Now whenever I listen to this song it just warms my heart.

true! there must be something special about it. I mean there are plenty of chinese tv dramas (and even BL dramas). many people moved on to WoH but the fanbase of TU/CQL is still there because the show was so touching. No matter if the cgi or the editing was bad, the leading roles and the depicted wangxian was perfect. I guess that's why people still stuck to it. I'm a new fan (just started 2weeks ago) but I already know this gonna hunt me for months😄

I don't usually like to watch dramas, but I love the novel, so I gave it a try. The Untamed is very good. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan have very good chemistry, and they're both very good looking. I mostly just watch the drama for their interactions. Keep in mind that the novel and drama are different. Drama characters aren't the same as their novel counterparts.

I say that they're pretty much the same as their novel counterparts. It's just some some have a more important roles in the drama than in the novel and some important parts have been changed.

@@dendenm16 I don't know about the international fandom, but Chinese fandom has made it pretty clear to separate the adaptions of MDZS from the actual novel. Each adaption of the novel is different, so characters change depending on the circumstances and what happens in the script and plot (and censorship). No adaption is exactly like the novel. If anything, the closest adaption to the novel is the audio drama.

The Untamed is the first and only drama that i don't skip its OST, i always listen to it every single episode up till now and i don't think i'll ever get bored of such a heart wrenching song .

Ha ha, who can watch this series just once. I watch 5 times and still go back just to absorb all the feelings. Love all of the charactors in the untamed. They all have their pasts which reflected in their personalities and the casts represented those charactors so well.

Несколько дней досмотрела дораму, пересмотрела видосики про Ибо и Чжаня, теперь снова на 4 серии Неуротимого. Влюбилась в их актерское мастерстово. Затем в вокальное. Ну, и они очень классные в закадровых роликах. Ммм... Правда, дополняют друг друга. Короче, хочу еще дораму с ними!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a new fan of this story and seriously this drama is slaying my soul and the OST is so good. I read the fans of this story really made it so famous and it really is a heart-breaking, mind-awaking (?lol) this story of Wei WuXian so I guess it deserved a whole compromised staff and this kind of promotions. Both solo versions are amazing! and to think that Yibo is originally a rapper..to be able to sing an emotional song like this is a total hands down. And of course, Xiao Zhan's the main vocalist for XNINE..aside from his knowledge of the vocal techniques, his version was more attuned emotionally as he is more comfortable singing ballad songs. Nevertheless, the duet version is the one I like the most. They do complement each other...vocally or physically..just like Lan Zhan and Wei WuXian.lol

Yibo can definitely sing. No doubt about that. Xiao Zhan has wide range of voice dynamics. This is his Forte. Both did excellent job in this OST. Yibo is a dancing king, on the other hand. Although, XZ can also dance well. I don't want to compare, both are multi talented. As the saying goes "there's no comparison between the sun and moon..." For me, there's no competition.

I don't know why, but when I'm listening Discontented (YI Nan Ping - Yin Lin) My heart hurts, I just remember the sacrifice and difficulties that Wei Ying does. It's my emotion overflow and It's hurt to the point that I want to cry. I love Xiao Zhan & Wang Yibo for their wonderful acting in this Drama. But I always feel sorry for Lan Zhan. He always protected Wei ying every possible situation with indifferent face without showing any emotions. Without any expectation. But always got ignored by Wei ying. He was always busy protecting his family members, wen clan without understanding Lan Zhan concerns. He even questioned his care many times. I feel so sorry for Lan Zhan. Always.

LanZhan dint side WY when all the clan wanted to kill him, he know what WY say is right, WY is defending himself &accidentally killed the Jin. There is no evidence he curse him or his Stygerian amulet is Yin iron and after WY drop frm the cliff and died, he regretted. He spend years searching for his soul, playing his piano to call his soul but all to no effort.

The duet version is the most special among them all, that's for sure. Their voices complement each other brilliantly and it shows. Yibo's voice on the other hand is so soft and conveys something that warms your heart, just like his character Lan Zhan. I love it!

I can related, I just started with this fandom (tv show) 2 weeks ago and I almost watched all episodes. I got hooked!:) it is addictive and really great, now matter if the cgi is bad or the editing. XZ and WY made something so special by giving us these icon roles. a frienship/soulmateship or love which enlightens our hearts. soemthing we need in this world more than ever. maybe that's because many fans can't or don't want to get away of it❤️

I’m 68 and discovered The Untamed by accident! I have NEVER felt this way about a drama and certainly NOT the ACTORS. I can not explain it. Perfect actors, heavenly singing, fantastic script! One of the best things about The Untamed is the music... They invested so much in creating beautiful tracks including the BGMs instrumentals which are so mesmerizing and suiting to the scenes they were used on.. My favourites BGM (instrumentals) are wuji and yi nan ping.. They make me melancholic..

Yibo's Voice, is actually Omg... It's... Amazing. There are 10000 sweet flaws for Yibo (his cooking videos are super alluring).... But, he is tooooo good.... Singing, dancing, hosting, racing 👍, competing and acting..... ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And as far as I watched him so long through videos, news, interviews and so on... I find him competitive, caring and a good person.

I can't believe I didn't watch The Untamed back when it was airing. Hands down one of the best drama,ost,novel. Usually, I get bored in reading or watching novel/drama that are the same, I either watch or just read one of them and dropped the other in the middle. But, I got so hooked in this drama. After watching it, I multi task a lot, I read the novel/manhua at the same time. Watch the drama again, and watch the anime/ chibi anime (so damn cute!) as well. Even the ost Wuji (I watched BL dramas before, but I wasn't as hooked as LZ and WY) and Yi Nan Ping (I can't help but cry hearing this song, I can't help but wish Yanli got revived as well) are the best. Now, I'm on the road to find the audio drama. hahaha

I love it when they sing it together,I have goosebumps when I hear it,I can feel their chemistry through their voice.Maybe we have to wait more than 16 years to get XZ and Yibo in one frame again but it will be worth it.Both of them work so hard,for now let’s love and support them in positive way. I really love TU,everything,the plot-cast-music,I never feel like this to another drama. For me,their chemistry is number 1, not just XZ and Yibo but all crew.All.Still the best for me,never stop rewatch until now.

The series was very nice and the characters are excellent in there roles. I can't move on specially to the scenes where Shangguan Jun was drunk he was still honest and cute, and when he knew about the golden core of Wie Wuxian being transferred to Jiang Chen he was hurt to hear it.
