I remember exactly how I first saw every wallpaper: - I saw Steve Came Back From Vacation printed on a magazine. - Steve On Vacation appeared on different tutorial videos. - Broken Diamond appeared as the background when installing a pirated launcher, I think it was eXtreme or something like that. - Mining in the Sunset as the thumbnail for a Brazilian youtube video about building a potato house out of wool.

@@Micah_YT simple answer: i'm brazilian (and i was also a kid at the time) won't lie I still use one (not the same from this comment), but yeah, what can I do when just one game here is expensive enough to prevent me from paying the bills? maybe i would buy it today if it was still owned by a small indie studio, but now that it's just microsoft (a trillionaire company), can't really see the reason for doing it.

The artomix seed that was used in Steve on vacation was used in very popular Minecraft survival series by "Blowek" and "rezi" it was called " Minecraft survival jungle island". I speculate that Murshtin used it because it was in the series, maybe if you could dig trough Blowek's and rezi's old series you could find cool seeds that could help finding old wallpapers and its source. Idk if that helped but have a nice day

Kids these days have no idea how nostalgic these wallpapers are. I used to didn’t understand why my parents liked those old timely songs but the feeling I get from those wallapapers are exactly what they felt as well. Truly good times

I remember getting a laptop for Christmas from my parents in 2017, when I booted it up, signed in, and got to the Home Screen. That same steve in the field was there from when my parents changed it to that after knowing I had a love for Minecraft. I could never get that moment back and I wish I could.

Whenever I think about me playing Minecraft 8 years ago, it just feels… weird. It feels like there is a heavy object on my chest not letting me breathe and it feels mildly wonderful. I may not relate so much to Minecraft but I can proudly say that Minecraft made my life get to where it is now. It was 2011 when I’ve discovered Minecraft thanks to a KZfaq video of someone making the KZfaq logo, it was love at first sight. Remember being so naive that had to ask on yahoo ash how to place blocks, then I was the griefer type of gamer, I think because of my repressed sadness at the time. Made amazing friends online, remember moving to Italy and being bullied because I was the only foreigner in school. Some of them online friends also I’ve met, some we still in contact now but we don’t have that much time for playing anything. It amazes me how far Minecraft gone, going to groceries and seeing Minecraft clothes and stuff always bring back memories and tears of joy. Amazes me that still brings people together and makes me so happy that they can feel the same as back then now, a bit sad that there’s no more hunger games servers though. 😆

Not gonna lie, as someone who watched my brother play during alpha and who started playing during beta 1.4 when I was 10, some of these are actually younger than I thought, could have sworn some were before full release, but then again some of my nostalgic minecraft stuff is actually a little after full release, memory isn't perfect and it's in a similar timeframe of my minecraft obsession.
