Another removed plant/feature is the Security Gourds. It was a feature that helps you continue a level if a Zombie gets pass your defense and lawnmower. It would’ve costed about 10 gems. If paid, a Security Gourd would drop down, instantly killing the zombie that past your defense (except for Gargantuars), and every Zombie on the screen would be knocked back to the start. Basically a more expensive Thyme Warp Edit: Nvm, they’re not unused or removed. They’re only found in Penny’s Pursuit

Yo, there’s a few things you forgot to mention. Jurassic Marsh, Big Wave Beach, and Neon Mixtape Tour have unused gravestones that have no assets, and Frostbite Caves and Lost City have minecarts with no assets. People theorize the unused gravestones were meant for Penny’s Pursuit. Dark Ages has expansion levels left over, being nights 21-30. These contain the veteran Wizard Zombie and Castlehead Zombie, AKA the brickhead of Dark Ages. Frostbite Caves, Lost City, Big Wave Beach, and Neon Mixtape Tour also have remnants of their expansions, having code for veteran versions of their zombot fights. Frostbite Caves also has veteran zombies leaked for Troglobite, Weasel Hoarder, and Hunter Zombie and a brickhead variant known as the Skullhead by the fans, which is now in the sprite sheets (although not coded). It is possible the expansions are still being worked on, or they are being worked on for an unrelated event. Vasebreaker also has unused challenges for Far Future, Dark Ages, and Big Wave Beach, which eventually made it into PvZ2 China. Far Future’s levels for Vasebreaker are completed, being called “Grass Fed”, “Powerful Connections”, and “Pull Back!” respectively. Dark Ages and Big Wave Beach have their levels finished except for the names.

Pretty much marigold was unused for following reasons: - PVZ2 is fast paced game which make her giving coins doesn't that much useful - She was heavily nerfed in pvz2 to a point that Popcap made her have 0 useful role (even worse than the first pvz), basically once a marigold sleeps, the rest will sleep as well for the rest of level until you sholveled her, zombies kill her or fed her with plant food which also kill her but give you some coins. - Mostly there are better way to farm coins than planting some marigold even if she was never coded to sleeps. In short: Marigold was too pointless in pvz2 that popcap made her unused
