Excellent craftsmanship and beautiful design as always. Thank you for the voice over and the humour. I also enjoyed the introduction of the video with the acknowledgement to an iconic film via the gradually revealed title. Thanks mate. Inspiring.

Thanks V, I'm glad you liked my work and the little frivolities with the video intro. I have always loved movies and this includes interesting title sequences, I'll be using some of my favourites in future videos. I enjoyed your last three part video and as always the outstanding production. Cheers.

Great start, where it took me a while to understand what is going on 🤭. great music, placed exactly after my taste, sound of tools, the perfect amount of talk. Al in al amazing work! Hi Attila I like it when you talk about simple design 🙂 For me, it's a very sophisticated design. One only has to look at your sketches to understand that you spent a lot of time to come up with this simple design 🥳 Great job as always and with your comments, it's very nice, because I understand your approach. I would have liked to see your technical problem though 🤬 Have a good weekend Olivier

Hi Olivier., The clip that was shot during that glue up was the longest I've ever taken, I think it ended up about eight minutes long but for me the time seemed like and hour lol. During most of it my back is covering the work and at other times there is nothing because I picked up every thing and move to the bench. I did damage the feet and as a result they ended up smaller than I planned. Thanks.

The best way to sell a side table is to make sure it has a mate. Rarely will someone buy a single side table. Either for the living space or the bedroom. That's assuming you make furniture to sell it. I know this by experience.

I love your detailed work and your precise, pedantic work. Your inner Adrian Monk must be proud. And yes this 2mm cavity would also drive me nuts. I also try to be this precise, but still not at this level... @9:25 For this tedious and pathetic work I recommend a spokeshave with rounded blade and a round scraper. Way faster then this annoying work

That's a beautiful table, dude. You have a great design sense - is it inherent or did you get training/schooling? I assume that your primary skill is in metalwork, so I laughed a bit at the 'technical difficulties' beeper. Yeah, a through floating tenon with wood glue... but you rescued the glue-up. I would have gone straight to the clamps, and would have opted for an epoxy to keep the joint from expanding from soaking in the glue... unsolicited advice. I also assume you just went ahead and fixed that divot all around... because yes, 'we know it's there.' And we understand exactly what you mean.
@AttilasWorkshop
@AttilasWorkshop 3 ай бұрын
Hey thanks:) I'm not very good at any one thing but have a go at whatever takes my interest at the time. Good advice on the epoxy for the through tenon👍 I did save the glue up but not without damage so the feet ended up a lot smaller than planned, though the table is still well balanced. I did get rid of the divot just by sanding it out with 60 grit on the orbital though of course I had to go all around and go through all the grits.

Totally agree about the videography @DougWillisLuckyBastard, pan up was sooo smooth and ended brilliantly. Titles were a bit disconcerting at first thinking it was a YT glitch but after 3 bars realized where it was going. The Tech difficulty was fun and well place. Mainly enjoyed the appropriate amount of voice over and well placed. @attilasWorkshop Beyond all that the project was captivating and that hunk of cherry top needs a mirror on the feet to show the bottom grain...@¿@ A Man On a Mission project!!
