Lisa, it is very rare for me to comment on the video but you have inspired me to make an effort. You have to create something as much for yourself as for anybody else. Some of the best moments in my life were times when I created something good and recognized it as good. Altruism is great and noble but it is never a good excuse to shy away from using our talents which we have so that we can create real and unique value not only for others before ourselves. The cliché of giving from an empty glass is true. We cannot do good work for anybody when we feel unfulfilled or dead inside. Your work and creative process is your unique gift to the world. When you create from your heart and share it with others, you are worthy of receiving all of the recognition without apology. Your humble personality keeps you out of danger of becoming arrogant. A bit of self pride can be a powerful motivator when your self-esteem is low. Those are my thoughts on your video and I hope it helps a little bit.
