@CJ Em Chefs don't use gloves. It would be good to have a seperate person taking the money and giving change. Working at the bagel shop when i was younger we wore gloves because we also had to handle money between... so we had a pair for every customers order... then take them off do the money and change part then start over again with new gloves. Over time thats a lot of plastic gloves even if they are thin..it adds up. At tge bakery we would use tongs to get the items from the display case to bag. But for food truck gloves would work if you are running it solo...but if theres 2 or more people working.. its good to have one person handling money and the other handling the food. But having the sinks there to get cleaned up between. Totally good idea to use gloves to handle raw items when prepping then beable to switch out. Seeing people scratch their head or sneeze in their hand then continue without washing their hands.. now THAT is definitely off putting.

@CJ Em yes definately use gloves when touching raw meat..or seafood. using new ones to prevent the cross contamination.

@CJ Em Cross-Contamination is between Raw ingredients and Cooked ones, but yea, using gloves is mandatory when handling any kind of food as gloves are designed to counter what bare hands do, which is leave residues (body oils and stuff) or at least that's what i think gloves do (hopefully)

I am sure you wouldnt eat food from your granma because she wont use gloves. I am a chef in high end restaurants and we NEVER use fuckin gloves.

@@carlostorrelio8099 oh yeah interesting cause i work on a cart & there is no way around not wearing gloves on the street. peaple see everything & to most peaple its more visual on a cart cause i am already outside & every time i do get lazy or assume peaple will understand since i am extremley busy no they brake your balls for not wearing gloves. yes its a pain in the ass but i have to do it even more so than washing my hands as long as they see gloves they never cared if i wash my hands they just dont want to see there food handled bare handed. now inside a truck it may be slightly different but if they want subscribers they need to wear some gloves.
