I am German and I recognize what Poland has already done for Europe. Always on the front lines against the Soviets, with his fearless pilots he defended London from the Luftwaffe, and defended Europe against Ottomans.

Some people think they were lost or the landing was a publicity stunt. I believe it's pretty obvious that they made a tactical decision to land because of the poor weather. They wouldn't have been lost because of all the location systems they have such as GPS. And I'm sure they enjoyed meeting the villagers and spending time together. It was fun for them too.

charles shope Did you serve in the US army at the time when they landed in Poland and were you there with them? If not, then that's just the opinion of an outsider. Politics is not about friendship, it's about obtaining economical advantage over other countries, especially in the case of USA, we all know it very well. Also, Poland owned by the Polish people, you don't just land as a foreign force showing your support anytime you want. Anyway, I respect your opinion, but have to disagree.

Does Poland pay fees to have US Army protection, or the US pays fees to be able to stationed at Poland? Or no money exchange at all?

***** If it is an emergency deployment or a routine temporary deployment, the US foots the bill. If Poland offers to house forces, the US will work out an arrangement to cost-sharing (i.e. Poland pays for the infrastructure and logistics, the US foots the technical and manpower bills). It really depends.

Tak rozpoczęli inwazję na Polskę ale nie wiedzieli ,że to inwazja na obcy kraj .Mysleli ,że to ćwiczenia z latania na orientację według gwiazd .Chyba cel osiągnęli ,bo odlecieli kawałek dalej i do dzisiaj ćwiczą ,chociaż słyszałem ,że bez entuzjazmu .Ale gziezby dowódcy zajmowali się entuzjazmem podkomendnych .Ale jeśli zaczną strzelać do dowódców .Znam to uczucie ,bo gdy byłem w wojsku ,to wiedziałem ,że z tymi moimi dowódcami razem z e będziemy walczyć ,ze będę musiał ich wyeliminować ,jeśli chce mieć szansę przeżyć i bronić kraju .Podejrzewam ,że ci amerykańscy żołnierze mają podobne odczucia już teraz .Jak one objawia się gdy będą kazali im oficjalnie zajmować jakies tereny Polski .
