Given the fact that Mexico won the Olympics, Liga MX having a strong core of young talent, and young Mexican-American MLS players jumping to support El Tri, I don’t see why Mexico has such an aging roster.

Not gonna lie, I've been thinking the exact same thing. I have been doing my best to cheer on Tata since I would see the passion he had during the time he won the Gold Cup with Mexico. But now I see desperation but instead of experimenting more with the younger players, he has decided to just stick to his guns and play the same players. I have seen countless videos of Mexican players that are playing a great season but Tata looks away. Even if he does have some of them on the lineup, hardly if not at all, will they play. I was hoping to see Chicharito Hernandez play just to see what could happen, we aren't strong on the attack these days anyways. But unfortunately ol' reliable Henry Martin was there to take a seat. It really has been frustrating to see them play getting by with the bare minimum. However, World Cups we have been able to make miracles when faced with the biggest odds. So, lets see what can happen. (Sorry for the rant @jotaele , just had to let it out.)

After that we only have 3 matches against top teams that we have to win or get lucky with a penalty shoot-out in the case of a draw. I hope we can finally win the world cup after bottling 3 world cup finals, and going out 2 other times in the semi-final (both on penalties)

On a different note, I had some friends go to the match in Mexico. They didn't really say too much about the traffic but they did say it was pretty empty for various reasons. They were able to sit with the Mexican fans and they were just pretty much left alone. They also said that there was a lot of apathy among the Mexican fans so they didn't want to go to the match.
