I went on a school camp in grade 6, and someone brought a Veronicas album with them. Every time we got in the bus to go somewhere the bus driver would let us put it on. These songs basically defined my final year of grade school. And that bus driver was such a cool guy for putting up with a solid week of Veronicas music.

Franziska Schmidt that’s because Dr. Luke, huge producer alleged rapist, made slight changes to the song, and sent the beat to P!nk w/o her knowing. When she found out she was angry and called him out on it at a party they were at. And never worked with him again. He’s an asshat and a monster.

This great song was written by Billy Steinberg. Also famous for writing Madonna's: 'Like a Virgin' with Tom Kelly, (the LAV intro is actually a palindrome of a classic R'n'b' baseline) Steinberg and Kelly also penned the hit: 'True Colors' most notably performed by Cindi Lauper. Even after all these years, this song still sounds so badass! Especially that guitar at the beginning, never fails to get me! I remember Kid me carpooling with a few friends of mine after school. All of us head banging to the beat and screaming our hearts out in the backseats. And that’s not all. What was the best part, was that McDonalds around the time had introduced some I-pod kind of toy that you could collected. Different colours had different music. I was so happy when I got my after school McDonald’s snack, My first one was the Red Coloured toy with this song on it! I remember collecting almost all of them! Time flies by so fast!

When I was about 4 years old, I skipped preschool to see The Veronicas perform live on a morning show in the CBD. I ended up meeting them later too. Good times haha

To y’all calling this underrated, it technically was a huge hit. Only, after the songwriter Dr. Luke and Max Martin reused it and Pink released it a year after the Veronicas as “U + Ur Hand”. The same song, but different lyrics.

I really love this song and these beautifully cute, sexy, very talented performers. I'm 57 years young and a big time METAL HEAD, Founder of the band WIZARD'S PROMISS. I just love Heavy girl bands like HEART, PAT BENATAR, THE RUNAWAYS, LITA FORD JOAN JET, NO DOUT, VIXEN, THE BANGLES, THE PRETENDERS, ETC.....THE VERONICAS are unique and well polished performers. This the only kind of Chic music that really inspires me. When it comes to male bands I'm into the heavy shit. ROCK ON! theatrical performing makes it that much more fun, thrilling and awe inspiring.
