Hey man, so I'm 47 and bought my 1st longboard 2 weeks ago. In 2 days I'm doing a 10 hour cruise for charity. I think I'll most likely spend most of my time on my arse but that's ok. I just wanted to say that your beginner tutorials have helped massively. Thanks bro.

I hope you still read comments, especially to videos this old. I'm learning how to ride right now and your video was a lot of help, bit what REALLY spoke to me was the spirit connection, board-feeling part. It just took me back to when I was a teen, my dad was teaching me to drive a manual-transmission car, and I was having a really hard time understanding how to get the car moving, and everyone had their own dumb advice for how to do it and it didn't work. Then my dad just sat down with me in the car, and he said "Just feel the car. Feel when it's starting to stall out, just sit down, close your eyes and listen to it" and we sat quietly and felt the car and it's hard to explain but that's absolutely a real deal, dude. Idk, it's like 3 am but that spoke to me and took me back to a simpler time. Thanks for the video

I use to skate alot when I was younger on a normal board. 31 now and just bought a longboard to get into a healthy hobby that gets me outside again thanka for the short video. Hopefully not to old/broken to learn 😂
