For me Hyuna was always really controversial, and analyzing her career, the fact that she started as in fact a child it could really affect her personality somehow. What im trying to point out is that she was extremely oversexualised as a young teenager what is absolutely horryfying and sad, that can be the reason how she views the se*ual comfort on stage and goes even deeper into it, maybe she's unaware, maybe not, i'm not trying to justify her for her actions since she's an adult responsible for her own choices and actions. The 3 main things that often save an artist from controversies (it's always fans but why do they keep being fans?): Looks Music Personality/personal life. She had all 3 on max, and that always saved her from questionable things she did in the past. How does it look now? Looks - she's still beautiful but she can't compare to the gorgeous girl she once was and it's not at all due to "aging". From the moment she started playing with fillers, veneers and plastic surgery she's just decreased her beauty. Music - until she had 4Minute and Cube she had great music hits and was often times just iconic. After Cube her music just wasn't the same. You listen to the song it seems cool but how easy you can forget it in 3 weeks as it's just decent and not really comparable to her previous hits. Personal life - While she was with Dawn even when she already started to plummet her looks and music, people would still defend stuff she does, as she was the idol to say "I am in love and I won't hide that even if it costs me my career!" and people respected that. They were happy for them, so the bland music and her ever changing face (what happened to her eye!?) was excusable and forgotten. Now she's with a scumbag of a person, who not only can know of rape and tolerate this where he wouldn't notify authorities but he watched and was a part of that infamous chatroom of perverted, misogynistic and degenerate people. For her to be with that guy, even if she knew him her whole life, after having this information about him, she still chose to be with him and declare it with pride! Starting at a young age, you could say that it would affect her personal life and career anyway. That’s why I hate that companies still debuting idols at such kinda illegal age.
