Love these videos, they may be for a "niche" audience but I'm glad that you're taking the time to make them regardless.

Very interesting! I love how your videos are educational and add knowledge for the enthusiast community. Your channel inspired me to make some videos on unique seikos too.

The Seiko A829-6019 was the most often used model in the 80's by NASA SpaceShuttle Crew. Some say they were issued by NASA and others say the astronauts bought them themselves. There used to be hundreds of images of them worn by NASA Astronauts on Google. IMHO this model is the easiest to use with gloves in space.

This also interesting. Thanks.

Great video! Just one criticism: choosing to prioritize a few extra days of battery life over showing off those amazing “dancing hands” for posterity was kind of a shame. (I feel you though-getting these 6m movements running after a battery change can be pretty annoying.)

Wait what? A 31 day analog chronograph? First, this is kinda blowing my mind. Second, I didn't know it until now but I need this in my life. More people need to see this video.

An interesting piece, indeed. I collect vintage seiko. Not aware of this one. Thanks

This is really cool! I belive you would enjoy Soviet space chronograph Strela 3017 that was with Poljot and Sekonda dial at the time

I always enjoy the videos you post but this one especially, really interested in keeping up to date with any further research on this watch. I think the watch may turn out to be a pretty significant model for seiko collectors if more is found out about it. So much so that i managed to purchase an example for myself. It's in really nice condition and supposedly working but with some odd behaviour similar to yours. Its currently en route from Italy and I'm excited to have one in the collection. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and keep making videos

Thanks! Just be patient with the setup. If the hands are not calibrated, just about every single thing will be wrong. If you have any doubts, consider resetting it. It’s (probably!) not nearly as bad as it felt - maybe 5-10 minutes of work. The pdf is online.
