I was going to visit my .mother on hospital four evenings a week who fighting for her life on public transport for much of my childhood. I could nt even think about education. Every holiday i had to care for my mentally handicspped brother who was difficut and worse as he got older. Mum was a teacher too. No one cared two hoots about me at all. Even my gp l failed miserably at everything. My education and total childhood was a joke and all teachers thought i was dim.Mum had me only for a carer for her spoilt pfb handicapped male child. I was left with a social phobia which i hid because no one understood and drifted from job to job. It stll rankles aged nearly 80 that no one understood me except one female gp when i was 54. I tried to educate myself as an adult and have learnt three foreign languages fluently, and i am learning another. I have tried to help myself. I have nothing to thank my mother for or any schools i had attended. I chose a profession other than teaching as i see many flaws in teacher training. No schoolteacher including my mother helped me. Mum's love was not unconditional and i was just used. I couldn't cope with school and made myself ill not to go aged seven. Mum wouldn't have understood definitely. Teachers like to think they understanding and caring but i have no confidence in schoolteachers after my experiences. I have taught one of the languages in the past. I got promoted because a student sang my praise to someone high up. I have taught a member of a foreign royal family so i was not as dim as everyone thought. The person a taught made a friend of me at the time. She was nice.

Black and White is a very American way of thinking about race. We are smarter in the UK. Nigerians do well in school, Caribbeans might not.

Be more specific, what is she doing wrong and what should she do that she's not? She sounds like she is unifying instead of dividing and building resilience and humility. Sounds wonderful to me. What specifically is she doing wrong in your opinion?
