Just got home from seeing Avengers Endgame. Commercial for new Star Wars movie..found it odd when screen went black for a few seconds..and you heard Mark Hamill laughing (almost) his Joker laugh! Very weird.

I know who Tara Strong is. I know many of the voices she plays. There's still a huge disconnect watching her perform those voices. It's like watching someone lip sync. It's completely astounding.

Phil Lamar has done so many more voices than that. He really is one of the best voice actors around. You can pick him out and identify him but there is a lot of diversity in the voicing

"I don't write 'em, and I don't draw 'em. I'm just the singer" That's the most humble thing I've ever heard a performer say. A lot of the time actors are praised way more than they actually are (in my opinion), but its good to hear the fame doesn't go to this actor's head. Voice acting is amazing. Rob Paulsen is a childhood hero of mine (as is everyone on here).

Luke Abbott no. He’s legitimately and consistently humble. Most VO actors are. Look up Frank Welker. Possibly the greatest VO artist of modern times no offense to the incredible Mel Blanc. But Rob is usually so deferential to fans love of the characters. Truly an amazing and inspiring human being

Phil Lamarr is amazing definitely one of the voice actors I look up too as my favourite voice actor of which there is not really many? as I dont know alot of voice actors, main reason being because he voiced some of the characters in shows I watched alot of as a kid especially Samurai Jack is my favourite and Static shock

Finally someone who knows about the static shock!!!! That was like my favorite for so long and it's crazy cuz anyone I ask has no idea what I'm talking about like almost if it's fake and I'm the only one who has even seen the show, making me think maybe I made it up while I was in the mental hospital while I was a kid but not anymore!!! It's amazing to know someone else has watched static as well!!!!

Watch her argue with a lyft driver, a video she posted thinking it made her look good when it proved the opposite, she's the lesson, it was a mistake to raise voice actors to such prominence trying to feed the commercialized con machine. "Rekieta Law - Live Interview with Anime Outsiders About Tara Strong" explains the situation a bit, not only did she post herself stomping on a working man, when others mirrored her shameful video she went full dmca on everyone. Like so much of hollywood, the mask has fallen off, for all the glitz and glam, these people are hollow inside.

Don't go for weird and wacky voices. Go for variations on your own voice. Don't go for imitations of famous voices (ie: Bugs Bunny). Go for creative takes (your own spin) on iconic voices. Go and get into acting and drama. Whatever level you can. -Advice from various voice actors at panels at various anime conventions.

Damn man, that first song had to take forever to learn before he went into the sound booth and recorded it. I mean really, just imagine how many times he messed up before he got it right and now he can sing it no problem. I'm sure they made him do that song over and over and over again and that's how he memorized it. But yeah, the voices behind the characters is so amazing to see who does the voices of my childhood. When you're as multi-faceted as Tara, I can't imagine any of her friends *not* constantly begging her to speak in voices. I do voices myself, but I can only imagine her level of being persuaded to speak in them. - Also yes, the most insane part about voice acting is that no one knows what you look like, and it's a wild reveal to see who voices our beloved characters, especially when you create an image of what they might look like. It's crazy!

@Reuben Ahmed, just because I'm not an A-Lister doesn't mean I'm talentless. If you discredited every actor who wasn't in a Blockbuster role, you'd be left with a pretty short list. To ignore every up-and-comer is to be ignorant to new talent. And that's a doomed enterprise.

childrens toy gauged for kids around 6-10ish; both boy and girls. more for girls. need something kinda like my little ponies voices. kinda hip, trendy. pop-culture oriented. as i design pop culture type of toys. if you can do this, i will throw you my email and you can send me some samples. I can pay you for voice over work, and give credit if you are what i am looking for. i would also need more work done in the future too im sure. ( I can't promote your youtube channel if it's not kid centric)

This probably gets overlooked but I appreciate the editing and directing of this documentary. Especially at 7:00 where the televisions are accompanied by background movement and food being taken. Great artwork 🤌

Robert Bullard The new guy is good. Peter Weller was great as Batman in Dark Knight Returns, he’s probably my second favorite after Conroy. Really though so far Conroy is the best, his Batman voice is spot on.

Met Tara Strong in person while I was doing security for Comicon, very sweet and cute. Short as hell too lol. She has a shit ton of fans. I’m a big fan of her in Ben 10, Fairly Odd Parents, teen titans, and of course Harley Quinn. She also gets a lot of weird fans (example a 40 year old man dressed as My Little Pony) and she has awesome patience and respectable qualities to handle some of her “biggest fans” lol.

Also I kind of find it funny that the voice actor for Falcor is the same actor that did Skeletor because they are on COMPLETELY DIFFERENT sides in terms of acting. Falcor is soft-spoken and very wise whereas Skeletor is a bully and a tyrant
