Puff pastry usually will do well in the fridge for a few hours as long as the filling isn’t say, juicy. You can prep them and cook them later. I’ve even had them sit overnight and do all right. Only thing is I would bring up the oven to full temp before popping them in. And maybe let them sit on the counter while you preheat.

How can a blind person cook?

@@ProtispordhaDrohi it would be absolutely impossible for me to explain to you how a blind person can cook. Believe me, we can cook very well. Some blind people even own their own restaurants or make food products to sell. We use some special tools that have braille markings on them, or we use talking products. Two examples would be a timer with braille markings and a talking meat thermometer. Your question leads me to believe that you think blind people are helpless. Believe me, we are not. Besides cooking, I enjoy crocheting, riding, sailing, and gardening. I ride and sail with my husband. You should really explore stories and videos about blind people and then you would see that we are not helpless just because we can’t see.

I was simply curious. I don’t think they are helpless. I saw handicrafts made and marketed by them. Cooking is something I haven’t heard of, that's all.

@@ProtispordhaDrohi I understand. I apologize if anything I said offended you. There are a lot of special things that we can use, or we can adapt appliances so that we can use them. One thing I wish appliance makers would do is put speech technology into their appliances that will read digital displays. There are many appliances that we cannot use because we can’t adapt them if they do not make sound, have tactile markings, or speak. For instance, there are many air fryers that we cannot use because we cannot read the displays on them. We have to find ones that still have dials and put markings on them. My washing machine has a digital display but it also has a dial that I turn to get to each setting. I put a braille list of settings on the front of my washer and dryer. When I turn the dial, it stops and beeps at each setting. Although I cannot read the display, if I count the beeps and read the list at the same time, I know what setting the machine is on. Appliance makers need to realize that blind people use their products as well as everyone else and use the technology that exists to make them more accessible to us. My electric stove beeps when I press the up or down arrow, but I have to know that each beep raises or lowers the temperature 5 degrees and Count the beeps to know what temperature my stove is set on I also have to put dots on the up and down arrows and the buttons on my stove because they are on a touchpad and not raised so that I can feel them. Since you are curious, I suggest that you search out videos that blind people have made to see how we do things. Thank you for replying to my comment.
