Production Note: The producer from season 1 was replaced after that season ended. Going forward, the walkers 'remembering' things plot is gone.

Thank god that happened. It was just too dumb... 😅 Plus, with the explanation Dr. Jenner gave them, it would not have made sense at all so I don't know how the producer explained that.

Although it is her gun, she´s unstable and suicidal right now. Taking her gun doesn´t only protect her from herself, but also the group from her volatility. In her current state of mind, she could snap and do something crazy against other members of the groups. Morally, in my opinion, their right to be safe trumps her right to have her gun.

In the comics, Dale and Andrea are a couple (despite their age difference they apparently "hooked up" after the world went to shit). I think they way they act sometimes in the show is informed by this comic book reality despite them not really "going there" in the TV series.

I still get cross when I see Rick leave Sophia....would it have been THAT hard to stay with her??? and OH GOD Lori, make up your mind! Do you want him to leave you alone or not? BTW, I know everyone starts hating on Andrea from this episode on but I was actually more annoyed with Dale in this episode.....Great reactions guys!

he had no weapon and couldnt carry her anymore, she was out of breath and one guy vs 2 walkers with no weapons is pretty dangerous, i think it was the only smart decision

Andrea is completely right. It wasn't Dale's choice to make. They also don't get to take her weapon away from her. Lori had one too, it's not Dale's choice. It wasn't because she isn't trained with the gun, it's because Dale didn't want her to kill herself. So if I'm honest I would have reacted the same if someone takes the gun away from me. I love Dale, he's one of my favourites, the moral compass they need - but in episode 5 when Jim got bitten, Dale was the one who told everyone that they should listen to Jim and let him die the way he wants to die. Because it's his decision. So he can't just make decisions for Andrea now.

jim got bitten. There were no other choice. Andrea has hope of a new better life. She doesnt see it because she is depressiv. Thats why she cant decide for her own and dale has to decide for her. So Andrea is not completely right. She is wrong. she has to be deprived of her decision

Just because you're depressed doesn't mean others get to make choices for you. I know that because I know about depression. It's still my choice, no matter what. Yes, Jim was bitten, but he was still a human being. They have to respect his choice to die the way he wants to die. That's what Dale said, no one should make decisions like that for other people. If Andrea wanted to die like that no one should force her like Dale did. And of course she isn't happy now because she only did it to save Dale's life. He can't expect anything else.

+Ninaofthe90s when u have a real serious hard depression. Then this is exactly what it means. because u are not responsible for your actions because u are not thinking rationally. U are even punished by law in germany when u dont stop a guy who does suicide if u see him and could help him. In addition everything what andrea said was a lie. When she said it wasnt about amy. It was about amy because at the moment she couldnt find a rational reason to live because she is just thinking about amy. And as we know she had happy moments after that.

I' m talking about depression. You're talking about insanity. That's not the same. Just because you're depressed doesn't mean you are insane and can't make desicions for yourself anymore. I think you're mixing these things up a bit. Andrea is a sane person. I have depression as well, (and yes it's very serious). you think everytime I am depressed I'm acting insane and the I can't think rationally anymore and somebody else has to decide for me??? That's NOT what depression is, man. I'm living with that for more than 20 years now. About Jim...you're don't understand what I'm saying. Yes of course he would die either way but they were making decisions about how they should kill him or let him die. Dale was the one who said, that it's not up to them.

Great job guys! By this episode, my total dislike for Lori was well on it's way to hatred. I nearly threw up when she told Shane that he'd "crushed" Carl with his reaction to the weapons. CRUSHED???? Give me a frigging break! Keep up the great work! ;)
