These new features for the War Within blew my mind! Recently the alpha for World of Warcraft's newest expansion has begun, bringing with it a ton of new information, leaks and reveals that have left people's jaws on the floor - including Nixxiom's! In this video, Nixxiom is going into five things recently revealed about the War Within that he thinks looks awesome, cool or just plain exciting. What do you all think? @@Audon4150 The problem with this community is that when you start opening drathyr to any other class, you will have people complaining until you have everything unlocked. Plus Dracthyr racials may prove to be quite the way to go for many classes which is something the devs hate and they would risk to nerf dracthyr at their core

i like both ways of flying dynamic flying is fun but sometimes i just dont wanna do the mini game or i want to stay afk a bit in the air. So its much appreciated that they support both ways of flying

I just hope Warbands eventually lead to us to being able to group up with our alts in-game as NPC companions. Imagine an entire LFR-level raid with nothing but your alts. Or making a party of 5 of your NPC alts and leveling them up at the same time through questing.

As a casual player I can’t stand grouping with people who rush to the end like they need to use the bathroom super bad!! It would be nice to explore and learn stuff. Plus my alts have earned some time out with just the family lol

Wait, Dracthyr will get access to regular flying, too? NGL, I like the new flying. But I've been wanting Dracthyr to be able to have regular flying since they came out, because they always had the animations for it and they actually looked solid.

Ngl i like it when they enforce no flying at the start of expansions, dragon riding especially made the dragonflights zones seem really small and unmemorable imo

For my first time questing through the Dragon Isles, I did (almost) everything on my ground mount. I appreciated the zones in a way that I probably wouldn't have if I flew from day 1. I'll be doing the same for this xpac.

Agree - honestly just let us unlock dragonrdiing when we turn 80. I miss the fun PvP while leveling. Dragon riding gets rid of it

The best part of The War Within is having the Tusks of Mannoroth drop when playing your Druid and it not being tragic The second best part of The War Within is The Hivemind mount using Whirling Surge The third best part of The War Within is Horde Dwarves The fourth best part of The War Within is the new zones, dungeons, delves, raids, idk I guess that's there too

I think what would make leveling a bit better for me would be, say after your 2nd max level character, you unlock full-length timewalking that lets you completely avoid the most current expansion and level to max in whatever expansion you want. I tend to always stack up alts right at the max level of the previous expansion (as of DF, this is level 60) because while I've thus far had the freedom to choose anywhere in the world I want, all of my stacked level 60s will be forced to funnel into the 4 most current zones, which gets incredibly boring and means my alts tend to sit for months to years.

the question is, how would they do dracthyr evoker starting zones if you can choose a different dracthyr class, my idea is that The other Dracthyr classes crashed landed in either the horde side: Valley of Trials, Camp Naraque & Deathnell or the Alliance Side: Northshire, Coldridge Valley & Shadowglen. you can choose one of the 3 zones to start with, also you'll have Visage from the start as your Racial ability instead of Gliding.

drac'thyr already have a strong connection to the emerald dream and the green dragonflight so them being druids does not seem too farfetched

I'm terrified of spiders, but the terror has always been a part of the game to me. Especially that damn giant spider in The Hinterlands--that thing scared me near to death the first time I stumbled upon on it. I know there is a whole zone and raid full of horrors waiting for me in The War Within, but I refuse to use the filter. I'd rather be frightened than coddled.

Maybe with them giving Dracthyr more class options they can expand the amount of visage options as well. If you could make a draconic visage of any of the races you'd see al ot more dracthyr around.

Bellular did a video and the xp boosts starts with one max level character for 5% looks like its a 5% boost so far up to 25% and thats hella nice

Roleplaying as dracthyr is kinda hard though because a lot of the Dracthyr lore is time locked. A dracthyr that's a follower of Malygos isn't possible. They were kept a secret from the other dragonflights because they were an expirment. They were only around for like a few battles in the first war with the Incarnates and after Razageth was imprisoned, they were also imprisoned because the Titan relic that controlled them was destroyed.

I use dynamic flight when I have to cross an entire zone, but if I'm just hopping around questing or gathering, it's just soooo unnecessary. I'm not the "In a HUGE rush 24/7" type of player that I need to cross the few yards I need to go in a split second. I'm just fine with gliding over everything and being able to walk away while I hover safely in midair.

Same here. If I need to zip across the zone then I do dragonriding. If I'm trying to get to a narrow ledge with a mineral node on it, then basic flying is way more convenient, so I am glad they're keeping both.

A crab filter? Well at least they are trying and kept it with 8 limbs. The flying toggle makes it easier to do precision/short flights then switch for faster long flights.

I like the different backgrounds for warbands, but i really hope it doesn't involve FOMO and that these backgrounds are always obtainable. Like becoming a Feat of Strength like with other certain things in WoW.

Normal flying will be unchanged. Dragonflying is just generally way faster anyway.

I main dracthyr and I REALLY hope they allow us to be able to toggle flying with a button on my action bar. Gonna be so disappointed if they make us go to a city or rested area to do it. Pleeeeeease let us have a button!!! 😭

I personally wish you could opt out of the experience bonuses.. I know i’m probably alone in that opinion but i pretty much exclusively level alts and i enjoy it feeling like an experience rather than a race to max level

I like retail leveling from 10-70. You should be able to start non allied races at 10. The first 10 levels are boring and too fast to matter

1. EXP increases based on characters reaching lvl 80 (why not just give the full 25% OUT THE GATE? This is dumb as is just a shit retention system) 2. Warbands (one of the only good things we know about in the Fart Within) 3. Dracthyr getting actual classes (should've just been here on day one for Dragonflight, stupid that they waited til now) 4. Arachnophobia filter (this seems like a good idea, until you say "kill the spider" in a raid and it doesn't happen and you wipe) 5. Flying (should be there from the start and shouldn't require you to do anything to get it, why do they keep doing this?)

I don't really see why people think an arachnophobia filter is so weird. It is one of the most common phobias (~6% of people) and alienating 6% of players from paying a WoW sub through that content is way more money than it takes to make a crab filter. Other games have done this before like "Grounded", it's not being woke. *edit* it is also a PHOBIA or irrational fear not just someone disliking spiders - they are evolutionarily creepy. It's not like a crab is less scary to an average person but Kabourophobia (phobia of crabs) is extremely rare, likely

I actually hate the new alt leveling speed bonus. Leveling is already lightning fast as it is, now its going to go by so fast that there is no point in leveling anymore. Just let everyone start at max level at this point.

It doesn't feel right to let Dracthyrs to be able to use other classes.. It seems WAY too strong to let a warrior be able to use those racials for example. I love the evoker because the class + race work so well together. And i really like the fact they are bounded to each other.

I don't like my warband players just standing around like the example given in this video. I want the option of having my warband characters sitting, eating, laughing, playing an instrument, sleeping, chatting with other warband characters, sparring with a dummy in the background, etc. PLEASE don't let them just stand around like we normally see them when choosing a character to log in with!
