I think power creep restricted to the Warcry bands, if it's an attempt to set a higher power level as a plateau for these rather than to continually creep up (and assuming it's genuine), is a good thing. From GW's perspective, Warcry is not going to make sense commercially so long as there's no real incentive for players to buy Warcry boxes - it's just an avenue to release a few extra AoS kits. So it makes sense for them to up the base power level of Warcry bands going forward so that more than one or two are better than using an existing AoS collection.

Bonesplitters yet again slept on. Almost half the teams that are in the B tier have a worse win rate than them. They are probably just a worse version of Kruleboyz but I think being two tiers below them is incorrect.

Talking about "casuals" at the end of the video, I think there are a lot of new players who have experience with wargames/skirmish games in general. In a weird twist, I think Warcry tends to be the "Pickleball" of skirmish games. Easy to learn, hard to master, and some folks come in and are really good right away. Also, shout-out to Micah in the D-Tier bowl 🤘

Your final thoughts makes me think of playing Commander(magic the gathering). Like, i find 3 is a good minimum number of decks. One beginner or jank deck, your take-on-all-comers deck, and finally your cheesy/serious deck.

I had to listen to it a second time to pick up on what an Ogre Titan was. I had one more question though. When you were talking about Nurgle and it's ability to be strong with few dice, you mentioned a dragon character. Just curious what that's referring to you?

the tripple for it is insanity. Its points cost to what it can output is wild and can burn down groups easily.

In a vacuum it's good - Potentially huge damage to a single target and good damage to anyone too close to that target. In practice, it's effective against some of the best things in the meta. The AoE damage is great for clearing chaff when they're grouped up on a point. And because it's direct damage an not an attack, the main damage is great against high toughness targets that can normally be hard to deal with. And because it's an ability, this is in addition to whatever damage the flamehurler us getting just by taking normal shots.

Yeah, it's the triple. Especially against tough chaff, that triple is just so good. Assuming an ability value of a 4, you're looking at 6 Damage to the primary target and 3 to nearby targets. If you have an ability value of a 6, that goes up to 9 damage to the primary target and 3 or 6 to nearby targets. That's a lot of wounds done with no actions used. Plus it doesn't care about target toughness. OBR has T5 10W chaff that can pretty easily get up to T6. The flamethrower would chew through them just the same.

Ranged attacks are really good. To compensate, most fighters with ranged attacks are heavily overpriced. Some fighters with ranged attacks aren't overpriced, so they instantly become top tier.

and now dwarfs of cos are one of the worst armys as is logical when a slow unit cost more than similar units with double move as elfs,this is because move is the most important stat and gw didnt have to hear to these cryers that dont know maths saying that slow units were undercosted

Hey none of that talk lol play what you like. I still play my Idoneth Warband and love them. Don't do so well with them but I love my "Moist Elves". Warcry is all about having fun and throwing some dice and moving Lil painted men around. These are more along the lines of more competitive play style warbands. Have fun and enjoy

I would counter that you're doing it perfectly. Play what's fun. Outside of trying to win a tournament, tier lists are the 'which superhero would win a fight' conversation of wargaming. We all like em though. Some day, my Night Haunt will rise!
