Thank you for reacting to the only popular music band I listen to. Since the late '70s, when I became disenchanted with popular music, I have mostly been listening to classical. But The Warning have hooked me their hooky old school riffs and actual sung melodies instead of screaming and growling. Every song is different, which is such a relief from the bands whose songs all sound alike.

It's quite eerie that one of the reactors mention what these girls would be like in 5 years. When Rudy Joffroy came aboard to manage this band back in 2017 (after their XXI Century Blood LP). Rudy made a video of him interviewing these girls (Dany was 17, Pau was 15 & Ale was 12). One of Rudy's questions was where do you see yourself in 5 years. Dany stated she hoped to be on a tour with Halestorm. Cause she really admires Lzzy Hale. Five years later not only The Warning was on tour with Halestorm. Lzzy Hale gifted a guitar to Dany on stage in Dallas, TX. Dany has only gotten better on stage from the time I saw them live in April of 2022 until their last North American Mayday tour gig opening for Three Days Grace Nov 2022 in Toronto (watched the video).

Very enjoyable for 2/3 of the reaction! Just as a small correction, it's my understanding that their dad is not their manager. Their manager is the guy who talks on Dust to Dust, named Rudy. They negotiated for months to get the creative control you talked about. Daniela sings lead vocals on about 80% of their songs with Paulina (the drummer) taking lead on the remainder and the rest of the time doing backup vocals on most other songs, along with Alejandra the bass player, who only sings lead on one song that I am aware of. A great reaction by Dave and Kirk again, but when it comes to Andy, it's just apparent that there are reactors out there with more insight, more thoughtfulness, and just more talent, to paraphrase him. I was dumbfounded to hear him say that there are other female singers with more power and talent, when he didn't manage to name one female lead vocalist who also plays lead guitar who supposedly has more power and more talent. Andy is clearly holding the rest of your team back, and just routinely spouts negativity with no examples, context, facts, basis, or really anything to add other than random off the wall inaccurate criticisms that just come out of his behind as far as I can tell. This is about as gently and generously as I can put it. I have rarely seen anyone else as bad at this than him. Dave and Kirk, though, well done as usual, and keep hanging in there.

I can name 1 who can play lead guitar and sing, Moriah Formica from the band PLUSH, but I'm not sure about more power or talent, I like to think that they are equally talented and different style from each other, I hate comparing artist from each other, if you ask me, I always choose Dany, maybe I'm bias being a team Dany, but I don't really care, Dany all the way 24/7

Thanks for the feedback. Andy is a quite guy, even when he loves a song he rarely shows it. During videos he tends to just focus and make notes and try to give to the point feedback and what he thought, Kirk is an encyclopedia so he can tell you how each bands members dynamics work and the history of music and Dave well he just says the first thing that comes off the top of his gead and 80% of the time is accurate the rest of the time its nonsense. We wantedto put this group together as we felt the various characters would make for more interesting viewing than three guys that are similar. We tend to disagree on every song, there is always one of us that doesnt like hte song that was picked but we think that makes for healthier discussions. We do take feedback onboard and hope that subscribers will see that as the channel grows.

@@dariosatira8170 By the way, from what I've seen, Moriah and Dany are friends, one time I spotted her hanging out by the side of the stage while the Warning was playing Evolve in one of the last Halestorm tour concerts. They both are great... Im also in Danys team. The Warning have just finished touring with Three Days Grace in Canada a few days ago, Dany was invited to sing Painkiler with them several times, also Barry their guitar player played Choke with them. It was great, you should check that out!..

Hi Guys! Dave, I am kind of disappointed that you chose Choke as the song to introduce your friends to The Warning. It was the first single released from their first major label album, but hardly representative of the band, IMHO. I think Choke is the most "radio friendly" of their new songs, but far from my favorite on the new album. I would have gone with Disciple, Error, or their reimagination of Enter Sandman. I like your format here, and I hope you all do more of The Warning for your friends! Thanks, Dave!

Their manager is Rudy "??" Not their dad. Their biggest influence is music to start was classical piano lessons. All could play piano by 6yo. Their family watched classic rock concet videos. They fell in love with the video game "Rock Band" Ale was only 3yo. She watched to start. Later Danny wanted to play a real guitar. He dad she had to try for 6 months if he bought her one. She said her fingers hurt so bad she wanted to quit with in a week. She promised. Dad notices Pau's coordination and asked if she wanted drum lessons. Ale started learning bass at 7yo. She was covering the Muse cover "Hysteria" at 10yo.

Thanks for the reaction! Good job, guys.. I think the "sound" aspect is the influence of the producer, David Bendith. While I like all of Error, and maybe I'm showing my age and tinnitus (did I mention I saw Black Sabbath 2 nights in a row back in '79?), but Bendith added some extra guitar distortion on some of the overdubs to add an ambiance that I think don't help the end product. They just muddy the sound, in my opinion. Still good stuff, though and I'm looking forward to where this ride takes us. I have to agree with some other TWA posters, Choke is good, but Z, Evolve, or my fav Animosity will give you more about what they can do.

I'm not into that ultra high gain stuff as well. But they are experimenting. Good on them. Hopefully they'll find a middle ground that will suit my aging ears 😂 It's not that I don't like their new songs but that high gain guitar sound, to me, sounds a bit cold. It kind of reminds me of those transistor driven sounds back in the 80's and 90's. In this case it seems to be a song-based choice and it fits. Good job DPA❤

I don’t mind different opinions, some we can respectfully disagree with and that’s fine. But a reviewer also has the obligation to back up their opinions which very little do. A good reviewer will give examples as to why they believe a certain thing then back it up. Doesn’t always mean we’ll agree but at least it’s respectable. Someone correct me if Im wrong but dude didn’t give names of people better than Dany. Even his own partners were dubious of his claim. It would’ve been a more substantial opinion if he followed by stating who was better and giving examples as to why. Not to be critical of a different opinion, simply giving a review of a review. Nor am I angry or dismissive of his opinion, I sincerely wanted to know more that’s all.

Great reaction, fellow. In my opinion, rock n roll is all but gone. Gone are the days of bands that survived decades of years of awesome music, expect your Metallica of this world. For me, the question is, are they creating something that relevant for today? Can they survive time in the music industry? Are they getting better as time goes? As a rock n roller for over forty plus years, there hasn't been a group that's caught my attention in the last probably ten years or more. One thing we find is that we have different tasdtes between the three of us and we agreed from day one that we wouldnt say we enjoy songs just to keep viewers happy. It's a challenge as when you do a reaction the people that watch that reaction will generally always be fans of that band so they never want to hear someone doesnt like the band or the musicians etc. We tend to just look at it that we all have different tastes in music and everyone is free to feel how they feel about songs and share their thoughts, same as the viewers are free to express in the comments section.
