Thank you for this presentation, which is useful for high school students. As well as the general public. The correction I want to make is that the originator of propaganda is an American named Edward Bernays. He turned a pacifist, working class American population- who were trying to unionize and survive on subpar wages in the guilded age US- into a German-hating war-shouting population within months. He did this deliberately, and with the idea that governments have the ‘right’ to use propaganda against their own population. He did this, even though Germany had not attacked the United States and that there was no evidence it was going to do so.
