I’m loving that CS is finally taking it easier with their demo videos and incorporating some humour. I first fell in love with CS products but then felt their videos became too over the top, but videos like these make me wanna carry my CS again.

They weren’t over the top. They were good demonstration videos. It’s good to see what they can do and withstand so you know your shit ain’t cheap and won’t break when you need it.

I own the warrior series wakizashi and i love it. The longer handle is nice and it holds an edge well and cuts like a dream, worth every penny.

I have a question about these Katana’s. Kult of Athena is an online seller of many manufactures Katana’s. They also sell Cold Steel, why is it they wont guarantee a tight Ito wrap on CS Katanas? Thanks!

Cold Steel i didnt hear it from anyone. let me preface my question by stating this: I am a huge CS fan and own alot of your products. I am looking to get my first CS Katana and when i go to Kult of Athena’s website, each Cold Steel Product has a customer disclaimer that they will not accept any returns as they treat all CS Katana’s as blems and give several reasons why. It is clearly written under each Cold Steel Katana. Perhaps they are selling 2nd hand CS products? I am just looking for clarification so I know i am getting a CS Katana that are of quality and free of blems. Thanks in advance addressing my honest question.😘

These cuts are forceful, but the are opening for defencive strikes, so what is the shortest cut to go trough the tatami matts, from sword extended in front or near front of the swordman?

its called Kote, a short cut to the wrist... But this is mat/target cutting Noot Swordfighting. Two very different things. We are trying to defend ourselves, we are just cutting mats

Also when you have to use this katana in shtf or when your ammo runs out God forbid. You can depend on this katana to last against other hand held steel weapons hence its namesake the Warrior in a all out clash of durable apocalyptic scenarios this sword will endure its tough and its balance is manageable with weight to break bones and sever limbs beat down lesser weapons and swords this blade would be praised in that type of world not because its fast like a traditional katana but because it looks the part but is different and would surprise heavier weaponry when you train with it!!!

dayle davis for the scenario you described the Honshu Boshin lacks the same distal taper to which you speak of and is 200 dollars less. The only difference in steel is one is 1055 and one is 1060, both are through hardended. The boshin grip would last alot longer than this Dragon Forge....i mean CS katana. Did i burst your bubble that CS doesnt manufacture their own katana’s?
