I would hope wiggins and his contract get traded. the concern is that kuminga might not be a full time 3 yet. his shooting needs to be more consistent and his ball handling needs to be improved. Low Key- Moody might be a better option to start at 3 right now

Utah is bluffing. They have to get rid of him. They are shopping him which is why they are in talks. Plus no one wants to stay in Utah. IF they keep him Lauri is not going to help them tank to drop his value. Ainge wants to get younger and possibly get Cooper Flagg. The draft class is decent so he will look to rebuild. Also he will have to resign Lauri at a higher rate as Lauri is looking for the max next season and cannot get it unless his contract is restructured and he gets an extension. And since he will be tanking Lauri's value will decrease. The longer Ainge waits the more he risks getting a lesser deal as the teams will not want to delay too long and miss out on other players looking to move that will be cheaper.

I don't think JK is the hold up. The Warriors want JK to be a stretch 4, like Markkenan, but he's not. We're stuck with Wiggins, so he and JK are redundant. If the Warriors manage to trade for Markkenan and keep JK, they cannot afford to keep both, so it makes sense to trade JK for him. I think the sticking point is Utah wants Podz and maybe TJD in addition to all those first round picks, and that is too much to give up.

I’m probably higher on Podz than most people, I think he’s going to be one hell of a player and I would hate to lose him with Steph getting into his late 30’s, we can use a guard to take some of the ball handling duties off him as he continues to age. Lauri and Jk effectively play the same position, so that’s why losing him for Lauri isn’t as big of a deal as people may think.

Likely have to include 3-4x1st rd picks + 1-2x 2nd rd picks alongside Trayce Jackson-Davis, Kuminga, Moody, and GP2 to get both Lauri and him. His super low contract would be such a blessing for our salary cap though!!!

That wont work that way. Besides Ainge does not want Wiggs contract. Wiggs has to get flipped for picks and possible trade exception. Loon and GP work but Ainge will want to remove a younger player like Moody, Podz, Gui, Trace, and/or rights to Nico Mannion. I dont want to give up Podz, or Trace, but.. That and 3 firsts with a couple 2nds. Or a player / picks coming in from a third trade partner for Wiggins or GP. This may be a very complex trade.

Utah doesn’t want Wiggins, they want young players. They’re a rebuilding team. 2nd rounds picks are hilarious. Utah laughs you off the phone and block your number. Lauri is an all star caliber player in the prime of his career at 27 years old. Why would Utah make that trade? Wiggins and a few seconds? Cmon man.
