i'm up for an experiment as much as the next man...but this doesn't do it for me...it strikes me as a bit of a lazy track...a rhyme dictionary and banal lyrics...like anything will do...hey ho...can't please everyone...i love the other numbers that i've heard from the new album though....especially 'down in the broom'.

Thing is, his recent albums have been such generous lengths - of White Album proportions - that he can afford to put in these kind of experimental tracks. In fact when you play the album as a whole, they make sense and add to the wide spectrum. I'm just happy Mike Scott is so prolific in recent years, and still burning!

We are all entitled to our opinion...and to express it...might i recommend you find a bucket, stick your head in it, and whistle ' what a wonderful world'. Ps...glad you like the track.
