Mike Scott for ever in my Heart... Amazing and suprising song as usual. Love from France. On vous aime .
My inner monologue before pressing play was "I wonder what Mike is up to here now....I bet it will be a tune though"....he & the band didn't disappoint! What an inspiring dude, keep rocking Mike & thank you 🙏

I love their older songs, I want to see them do a cover of This is the sea, that would be really cool

Which "band" ? It's Mike Scott, it's always bene Mike scott but now more than ever before. His ideas and maybe one or two collaborators ... mostly electro music now... I didn't expect Mike to do Fisherman's Blues of this Is The Sea all the timen, but really Out of all This Blue was a nice experiment. because it had nice melodies and some very different styles on this very long album. It's trhe fourth in a row with electro rhythms, drums 'n' bass, electro, electro... At least this track has a melody... but Mike Scott used to move me.... this doesn't.

Heard it on release day on CKUA radio, and Terry David Mulligan's interview today with Mike Scott. This song just pierced me at first refrain. The rest of the album is superb as well.

Having a very bad day today and this made me smile- Mike Scott's songs always make me smile. Except for Red Army Blues- that makes me cry. Some just make me laugh a lot, like Bang on the Ear.

Exactly...he released it when the Soviet Army was getting a drubbing in Afghanistan and reminded all and sundry about what they had to pass through when the Soviets were besieged by the equally evil Nazis. Now this song has a new meaning with Putin's doomed attempt in subjugating Ukraine. It will be his end, no matter what. Let us hope he will not bring us down with him, just as he has already virtually destroyed Ukraine physically-definitely not in spirit. They will sooner or later teach him and his evil mob the lesson they richly deserve!

I have a CD somewhere of Neil Young saying that to a heckler during one of his long Crazy Horse gigs. Cool song and recently saw the Waterboys. This track slots right into their other songs live, so don't sweat the vid version folks

Tbh not my thing , and in reality this is solo , ie Mike Scott , not sure why it isn't promoted as such, diluting the Waterboys historic hit albums imo.

Really tired of those raspy electro sounds and artificial rhythms... That will be without me this time. To each his own anyway...
@markmark85452 жыл бұрын
errrrrrr....... i liked the first track released off this album...all souls hill was excellent...full of heart....but this one doesn't do it for me...it sounds like mike with a few boxes of technology...reminds me of the dennis hopper track off the last album...very average.

Disappointing. Cherries and strawberries... This band used to be a good band. With integrety. Used to have something unique. It's all gone.

Have loved The Waterboys/Mike Scott all the way the back to the start- created some of the finest music I've ever heard. However, have to be honest, don't like this at all.

Mike Scott has 50 ideas a day and 51 are bad. Brilliant trio of albums A pagan place to this is the sea to fisherman’s blues and the odd moment since. Best live band I ever saw around 89/90. This stuff is dross though.
