Sunday! Time for a weekly update! And boy, do we have A LOT to talk about. Last week I published a video ( • 60 GOLD per HOUR by cr... ) that had an impact on quite a few materials, which allowed us to "craft" Globs of Ectoplasm at a very cheap price. The markets have now caught up with this method, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss what happened.
Unidentified Pieces of Gear have remained (relatively) stable, but don't go and blindly salvage your Runes and Sigils just yet. I'm working on a video that'll help you decide when to salvage which upgrade. The answer might not be as straightforward as you think.
This week, ‪@guildwars2‬ also released a new Expansion Teaser, which hinted at "land" spears. The price of the underwater precursors skyrocketed. Who knows, we might even see more movements, as we get another announcement on Tuesday! That same day Dragon Bash will also make its weekly reintroduction! Jorbreakers and Pieces of Zhaitaffy prices have been steadily going up, but it might still be worth thinking about the Gobbler that should make its reappearance in the gemstore.
We end the video with a new item, which supply has been going down steadily over the last quarter, and the price is now spiking!

I'm calling it now. If the expansion really has some aquatic content, the Legendary Weapon Starter Kit for the release will have one of the Leggy Aquatic Weapons as a choice.

I actually think the whole teaser was just to show the spear on land, not hinting at underwater content. But I might be proven wrong, of course.

im calling that they're going to spread out the aquatic weapons, one per quarter in the legendary starter kit. and each quarter they will release a new aquatic weapon that can be equipped on land (first the spear, then harpoon or trident)

Here's a video idea: gold per hour farming the map currencies (consuming -> shipments) for LS3, and Bjora's chests + ice nodes (Although West is much better, so maybe split West and East) as well as the 60 daily Jade chunks in DE (TP). It would have to be done on the same character to keep everything else equals (the chosen gathering tools, stealth, superspeed, movement speed, etc) My instinct is that DM's full 5 path might be better than most would think. Unfortunately, I don't think a pure gathering farm for LS4 would be half as good, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I like this idea! I might start tonight, if not next week with this! I wanted to update my ecto farming (chests) maps as well, so this is a great addition.

I know it's just a joke, but Kamohoali'i Kotaki isn't hard to pronounce at all. People get intimidated by the long word and panic, but take two seconds to slow down and go one syllable at a time and you've already got it. It doesn't have any sort of weird pronunciations, it's all exactly as it's spelled.

Ironically, I struggle more with pronouncing its precursor, Carcharias.

I dont know if i should buy the gobbler? i dont own any of the gobblers. How come The price of the candies increased now?

If you only plan on getting a single gobbler, the Halloween one is the absolute best. Zhaitaffy/Snowflake are a nice addition, though. As for the prices, you can exchange Zhaitaffy for Jorbreakers and buy cosmetics/rewards (for a limited time, until the festival ends). So more people buy Zhaitaffy now.

@@phandrel Thank you for your answer. I see that it gives some exp and gold %. I dont really care about xp, but about gold i dont know. It says gold from kills,I dont think i get gold from kills? or am i wrong

@@rainblue8005 You only rarely get gold from kills and truly minimal quantities, so it's really inconsequential imo.
