The last time we got a project from The Weeknd was 2016. Although 'Starboy' won Abel a grammy, it was met with mixed reviews as some fans believed he shifted to more of a 'pop' sound. However, many are saying this new EP features Abel returning to the dark, edgy sound we know him for. We're excited for this.

Basically, he meant by the line "two red pills to take the blues away" that, he only has to take two shots of truth to take the melancholy or sadness away, which is blues basically. Blues means sadness. And red pills stands for truth that is hard to accept. There is another meaning of it, which can mean he gonna do drugs (pills) to forget the pain or sadness for a while.

Love this review, hahaha ..its DICK!. I wish you were right and it was one of a few projects he dropped.... but we still here waiting April 19... XO fans be gagging for some new shit. Apparently he had a whole album he could have released prior to the break up with Selena, but he canned it because it sounded to happy lol.
