I've been to two of his concerts. This is a real artist. Real vocalist. No autotune shit. Put headphones in and liaten to a track, then listen to him live. Exactly the same. What other artist can do it like he can do it.

Sometimes he uses autotune but it's good to use it only on few songs some people's career depends only on autotune . Nobody can hit better high note than Abel right now.

Chelseaxo. The Weeknd is a better live singer now, especially compared to the trilogy days. He can't pull the majority of those songs off well live, the track Kissland is always a trainwreck live. His recent songs are pretty good live though

Charlie Kelly yeah trilogy has alot of vocal effects on many of the songs making them hard to perform, Kissland is more organic but he does alot of pitch Changing in-between the first and second half of alot of the songs

Ever since the trilogy I this man was a hidden gem. His voice reminds me of michael Jackson at times but he was a gem many still havent uncovered, in the night has been my all time favorite and still is.

This artist (The Weeknd) has a voice that gives me goosebumps. Only certain vocalists get me there these days. Also he is one of the only musicians I have seen live in concert because he puts on a damn fine show! Best artist of our generation. Hands down. At least main stream wise. Regarding his duet decisions. I believe that Ariana Grande's vocals mix smoothly like a fine wine with Abel.

I think compared to other artists that use autotune when you hear The Weeknd use it, you don't really think about it. Like yeah you know it's there but he uses it tastefully as if to add to the music, not as a crutch to make his vocals not sound trash, because on songs that you can tell he uses a pinch of autotune, you know it's not in a crazy way because he sounds pretty much the same live
