I can't say I'm an original XO fan, but I did discover him before he blew the fuck up so I'm not on the bandwagon. But seeing this mans success makes me so fucking happy. I am obsessed with his music and his voice. I've never bought any music in my life (I'm a pirate, jail me) except The Weeknds. I've bought all his albums off iTunes. I've never felt so excited about a musician/artist ever before. Whenever I talk about him I get super excited. Dudes fucking amazing. when i first saw him on BET Centric, I knew he was going to make it. That song Wicked Games was very haunting but a beautiful track. He seems very humble about himself and not full of himself at the same time. not many R&B singers have made it in the US except for Dan Hill, Drake, Kardinal Offshall, and Deborah Cox (she is so underrated). Congrats The Weeknd, I hope you keep putting out really great music. That song "Earned It" really was haunting too - now he can contribute more to movie soundtracks too.
