I can't believe how many times I've wondered this particular question. Why, why why, do people thumbs down a bunch of people making music? Especially Levon Helm, a freakin icon. If you don't like it, go away.
@lawrencemay8671 Жыл бұрын
Cause they are dumb asses. Lot of people don’t realize that Levon Helm had a Platinum Album in five different decades, one after he had throat cancer and lost his voice and retrain his voice.

Well, the page gives you the chance to vote. Sometimes it's ignorance, because I loved many of The Band's hit when I was growing up right behind them--I'm 73--but never "registered" and cared for The Weight until KZfaq. Other times it's the person's mood. I was feeling so crappy before I listened to this that if you'd popped me up a song I half like and thought was okay, I wasn't strong enough to give it a positive reaction. Jesus one time said, If you're not for me, you're against me. The soul is not Always ready to respond to goodness or upbeat energy.

I liked this piece as soon I played it and I always listen what words are sung and I favored this song by levon helm ...along with Rosanna Cash and the the rest supporting singers . Levon helm is singing what came true to one particular real individual,this is no joke I'm serious about the following first I am not no believer in coincidence is why I took song seriously about Carmen and the devil/lucifer walking side to side only it was not Carmen walking with it rather devil was walking with Carmen only that Carmen did not call it and for matter in no name of form. I do not joke of things not of this realm

@@carmenrivera5904 My Guru Yogananda says a "force of opposition" exists in us or with us until we learn completely to yield to the force of light or good. This light is our original true nature that we have forgotten or not followed well or lost track of due to the confusion of being in this material world. We want what is in the world--security, love, sex, control, success, revenge, etc--more than we wish to seek out the light. Until in time we learn that doesn't bring peace and happiness.

I myself like and enjoy this song + . Levon sings really of one person actually did what Levon says in this piece: Carmen and devil/satan walked side by side for three nights in a row

You gotta love Levon. He was the heart and soul of the band called "The Band". I love the way he changes the lyrics every time he sings "The Weight", as if to just be Levon and maybe a poke at Robbie, for taking credit for writing all of the lyrics to the Band songs except for the ones that are expressly stated that was written by one of the other band members. RIP Levon, we will never forget.!

The preceding female killed it and have to say the magic between her and Levon is one of the best performances I have ever seen.
