As funny as Raro voting out Stephannie because she talked about mashed potatoes, in all seriousness that was probably more just awkward editing. It’s likely that on a more subtle level she had been giving off vibes that she wasn’t particularly in it for the long run, or wasn’t as eager to go the distance as maybe her other tribe members were. Production used the mashed potatoes clip as a quick moment to explain this to viewers. Maybe they didn’t have a lot of options of footage that fit the narrative so they chose the mashed potatoes moment.

So after the segment on Bobby and Luke calling him the Charmin king.... an ad on my phone popped up for Charmin. 😆

Michelle was going home regardless of how Drake lost that challenge. Jenna was the one Tagi targeted because of the alphabet strategy, not Greg. The Tagi 4 planned to vote Greg out anyways because he was bigger competition than Jenna and Colleen, of course.

the stephanie thing wasn't the whole story since she had previously said she wanted to go home and then had spent the past few days trying to convince people that she had really changed her mind, so although the mashed potatoes thing was taken out of context, you can see why people might have thought it was a sign she still didn't want to stay as much as the rest of them

We have a new one on the most recent episode of Survivor Australia similar to Shambo, the most recent person eliminated was sent home because God didn’t like them.

In all fairness, Sean's alphabetical strategy only lasted 3 tribal councils. After Jenna, the next one alphabetically was Kelly, but Sean voted for Gervase instead. Then his last 2 tribal votes went to Colleen & Sue. When Greg went home it didn't matter much, because Rich and Rudy saw Gretchen as the leader of Pagong and Greg as second in command. When Greg left, Jenna tried to take the leadership roll by uniting her, Colleen, Gervase and Kelly. Unfortunately Kelly wouldn't flip sides.

The thing about Zane is, they would've kept him if he was actually physically competitive, but because he was so much worse than the rest of the tribe physically (they assumed at the time since Russell had to drag him), they had to take the risk. Otherwise they would've voted Russell. I sat there going "Zane outwitted his own body." Like he sat there convincing people that Russell had an idol and to blindside him. It almost worked.

My opinions on each voteout: 10: This right here is why I hate Nate. Stephannie didn't deserve that. 9: This was all Michelle's fault. She was on the outs at that point and literally all she had to do was pretend to suck at the challenge in order to then slay the tiebreaker and win immunity. Stupid move on her part. 8: Turns out Kel was smuggling beef jerky in the airport on the way, Tina apparently saw this, and so I guess Kel never recovered from this, and so when beef jerky was brought up he was targeted and ultimately voted out. 7: Ughhh. Rocky just pisses me off in every way. Poor Rita. :( 6: Lmao Bobby did it to himself. Casaya was one giant trainwreck and I LOVED it! 5: Ami was pure savage in Vanuatu.
