Rudeus's panic attack when saw Nanahoshi is quite realistic. Difficulty of breathing Dilating pupils Vivid flashbacks And the passing out It is all perfect

I think what Nanahoshi meant "I might have caused it" that the Mana Disaster happen five years ago was her being summoned into the Mushoku Tensei World basically like a after effect

You gotta remember, Sylphy is 15. Imagine how difficult it must be for her to see Rudeus after 7 years of being apart and for him to have this absolute stunning elf beauty hanging on him (Elinalise) and then for him not to recognize her when they reunite at the magic duel where Rudeus beat her, she recognized him so naturally it left her stunned that he didn't immediately recognize her. Even though she herself realizes after the fact that they haven't seen each other in years, everyone calls her a boy named Fitz, there's no real reason for Rudeus to expect her to be here, her hair is a different color, and she wears massive sunglasses, she still is terrified of the fact that even if she tells him who she is he may not return her feelings or even worse not remember her. It's expanded on more in the novels but for Sylphy Rudeus was everything to her when they were childhood friends. He was like a God to her. He knew magic, reading, writing, taught here those things and he was her only friend. She even thought that Paul had sold Rudeus away when he left to tutor Eris and Sylphy resolved that she had to go on a quest to save him and was ultimately told by her father what the actual situation was. It's easy from the outside to see what Sylphy needs to do but for her it's a terrifying concept to let down the last certain chance she has to be close to Rudeus as Fitz and reveal herself as someone Rudeus used to play with as a child and expect it to mean as much to him as it does to her.

I think you guys missed some subtle points that might be important, it's not spoiler because all of what I am about to say is already in the anime. 1. The accident happened in Japan to Rudeus and Nanahoshi at the same time obviously, but Rudy came to this fantasy world way earlier than Nanohoshi, Rudy is by now, like 17 or 18?, but Nanohoshi said she was teleported to the world a mere 5 years ago. Thus, there is a weird time lapse between the reincarnation and the teleportation. Nanohoshi has not been in this world for as long as Rudy. And you got that she was teleported not reincarnated. 2. This is actually bad subtitle translation. What Nanohoshi said in Japanease is that "I might be the cause of the teleportation incident", not "I might have caused it" as the subtitle translated. But to Sylphie, who didn't know any context, hearing that Nanohoshi might be the reason, couldn't distinguish the difference. Rudy on the other hand understood what Nanohoshi's parculiar grammar, so that's why he is also caught off guard by Sylphie's sudden outburst. (Nanohoshi knew it was coming and preped for it, since she knew it takes a while to explain to Sylphie, and even then it might not guarantee Sylphie won't turn on her) Someone, unknown, summoned Nanohoshi to this world, and that magic's backlash probably caused certain radius around Nanohoshi's arrival point to be teleported randomly, hence the teleportation incident. So Nanohoshi literally did nothing wrong, and was indeed a victim. She only started studying magic circles after learning from Orsted and the other unknown benefactor that she has told Rudy she promised to keep secret for now. So, from Nanohoshi's perspective, she was having argument with two classmates, a truck came, a fat dude pushed them out of the way. Then she woke up in the middle of a fantasy world, and there is absolutely nothing around her as her arrival has caused everything around to be teleported away. Then Orsted picked her up and took her on his travels for unknown reason for now, but he doesn't seem to be the one summoning Nanohoshi. (in season 1, Orsted's first appearance was he looking at the anomaly in the sky and wondered what that was and headed that way). Then, along their travels, Nanohoshi encountered another benefactor (whom she is keeping a secret to protect his identity as of now), who posited the theory that maybe someone summoned her, so that's why she started studying it in the university. 3. Rudy recognizes Nanohoshi, but Nanohoshi does not recognize Rudy, because Rudy isn't in his fat body. And Rudy has intentionally skirted around that, and did not tell Nanohoshi that he was the guy in the same accident.

I forgot to mention in the last episode but there was a huge context cut during the Badigadi duel. Basically Rudeus not only said that he barely survived Orsted's attack, he also said that he managed to damage him with his spinning stone bullet which scratched Orsted's hand. Badigadi was shocked because damaging the Dragon God is no simple task and that's why he asked Rudeus to use the same skill against him. They also censored how Badigadi's body blew up and split into multiple parts, however he has the ability to basically infinitely heal himself so he just wouldn't die.

Nana didnt cause the mass teleportation bcs of her experiments. She said it may have happened bcs of someone teleporting her from another world

When Nanahoshi (the girl with the mask) said she might have caused the mana disaster, she meant that her teleportation to this world might have casued this. She was teleported in this world 5 years ago, the same time the disaster happened. She thinks that she's the reason it happened, not the one who initiated the entire process. She phrased it wrong and sounded like she did the entire thing.

This was defenitely the best S2 ep so far and easily a top 5 ep overall🔥

Just to jog your memories but Sylphie originally had a shy personality including being an outcast in her village though she has definitely grown and matured like Rudy she still retains her original personality in core moments (like revealing herself here in this ep) which wholesome and kawai to watch.

Never worry about not remembering something. Every one of ur fans already expect that much so I think people would only be worried if you actually remembered something. Basically, if Eris popped back up right now and somehow didn’t age in the past few years I would still assume someone would have to tell you two who she is.

Absolute 11/10 episode, definitely a top 5 episode in MT for me😮❤... With the sheer amount of info we got, this episode could have EASILY passed as a "Turning Point" 😂😅
