That fire attack was on a nuclear bomb level, Orsted obsorb it because every body could die from that one. Only he could survive the attack but, Eris, Rujierd, Nanahoshi and Rudy for sure could not. Also, Rudy combine wind and fire magic to increse the heat to a not natural degree, imagine that te white one is over 6000 k (roughly the temperatrue of the sun´s surface).

Voice acting MVP award goes to Eris in this episode. Really felt her voice acting. And yeah the music was so intense. The animation changing the lighting on the cave when Rudy was making that purple energy ball thing was crazy.

I'm gonna have to disagree. I'm gonna give it to Orsted. It's the same VA from jjk (Nanami) and Diaries of a Househusband (the Yakuza boss). He's so good as a bad guy

@@ThundrCh1ckn I know the VA of Orsted and he's one of my favorites. He did really well in this scene, but because of the situation, he didn't really have to do much dramatic acting. Eris' VA on the other hand had to do that extreme voice acting when she was desperately crawling to Rudi and calling everyone for help.

11:49 ikr writer made broken characters and put limiter on them like rudeus Rudeus really good at offensive magic but they put limiter like he suck at supportive magic (he cant inchantless heal, detox), his nature (cant read room, afraid to kill people, act degenerate)

I like how I'm MT he is actually God level. You see in a lot of anime where the MC (through the power of friendship or some nonsense) can hang and beat the big bad but not Orsted. He's the illegitimate child of a cat 5 hurricane and the strongest nuclear weapon ever. Rujerd is easily the strongest person shown in the show with stories that put him near the top of the world population but Orsted wasn't even serious fighting him. It gives the story some realism when you see how Orsted talks about time/reality and see him body Rujerd with no effort and think, that's what I'd see a GOD as.

Orsted's words seem like he re-lived the world multiple times and just met everyone. I just noticed we're still in world building, introducing Zenoba last ep. Orsted this ep. and the Blessed and Cursed Children. An anime only actually found who is Nanahoshi(I know cuz im watching spoilers) and yeah cant wait to see them again. Poor Rudy, he seen himself die multiple times.

Nanahoshi must be the girl he tried to save from the truck, she had long black hair and they even gave her a voice line, also in the very first scene of episode 1 the cop said that 2 high schoolers who were there went missing, and they showed one of the two guys just sitting there shocked, so It's easy to deduce that we are gonna see the other 2 at some point in the show.

After rewatching this episode for 10 times, I noticed 2 things about Nanahoshi, first she is not scared of Orsted and does not hate him which means she is not affected by the curse, second I'm not so sure about this point but I think she is the only character I saw with a black hair in this world. so I believe she is not from this world

remember when Orsted asked rudy why he didn't heal his lungs? Rudy didn't heal his lungs because he cants use incarnation less magic for healing magic and because of that Nanahoshi probably thought that he wasn't an apostle of the man god and that's why Orsted healed him this is just a theory. And one more thing the man god never gave rudy a blessing i think he gave himself his own power.

He can't feel the fear and felt they were being biased like with the superd. Also Orsted was walking away after finding out who they were so Rudy felt they were safe so he might as well get some answers. He's also new to this world and didn't know the man god would trigger Orsted to try and kill him. He's also the only one who knew about man God and felt alone in that sense then someone comes along and mentions him. He felt he found a kindred spirit and someone who knows what he's been through. He was more than happy to mention that the man God has been visiting him.

i know not everyone speaks everything tht they are thinking so i dnt wanna be rude and straight off say tht u guys didnt notice it but jst in case u guys didnt...u could see how he was talking abt everything as if he knows the timeline and how rudeus didnt exist in said timeline...almost as if he is an anomaly created by the man god. I imagine tht in each timeline tht orested has lived in, he as done something tht made man god worry more and more and so he summoned rudeus to break tht cycle as an anomaly who is working in favour of him. Also laplace is the demoon king if i recall correctly and to be on par with him is fkin amazing. Especially cos orested was judging him based on a low level flame spell...so not only is the spell not strong but also flame isnt his ace. So basically he turned a low level spell into a god level magic by jst feeding mana, tht also without the rod tht eris gave him.

Idk abt the other sources, I read that the anime didn't include the portion of Rudeus using that Earth magic with King level casting strength and Orsted acknowledging it So... Orsted saying his mana level should be related to that more so than that

The purple fire ball rudy used to attack orsted could actually kill everyone there and destroy the whole mountain if orsted didn't stopped it, I've red it somewhere

Yeah, they say that because of how hot it was listed as being in the light novel. Supposedly it was heating up to over 7500 degrees Celsius in the book. Other people have been going based off the RL scientific color shifts of fire. Fire color shifts upon reaching different temperatures. So they estimated Violet (purple leaning towards pink) which typically happens at 39,400c or 71,000 degrees Fahrenheit. You have to suspend belief for a fantasy show with magic though and can't really apply too much RL science to it. At 118f degrees, human skin starts to burn up at the 1st layer causing 1st degree burns. At 162f degrees, all your skin is burned off, and your muscle tissue is probably roasting. So if Rudeus had made a ball of fire that went Violet at those temps, him, Ruijerd, Eris, and just about everyone near it would've been turned to ash instantly and that mountain likely would've melted and been destroyed too. Then again, realistically, Rudeus never would've made it that far into powering up the fireball before he was reduced to ashes by his own flame. Probably would've happened after the 1st or 2nd color shift.

In the fight: When Orsted touch Rudeus, he destroyed his lungs by putting pressure on the inside. If you look closely you can see that Rudeus can't breath.ಥ_ಥ Then with quick thinking, Rudeus tried to distract Orsted by the Spinning Earth Bullet with one hand and use the other to create wind to force oxygen inside his lungs so he can continue to fight. (⊙_⊙;) And by the way the purple fire which Rudeus create was measured up to 39400 C (around 71000 F) which could cause a Nuclear Explosion if Orsted didn't use Wyrmgate. It is a pretty amazing fight between them but Rudeus still have a long way to go to fight against Dragon God.😅

The attack Rudy let off, that fireball was basically a nuclear explosion it woul have killed eris ruijuired nanahohshi and rudeus only orsted would have survived but because he used the wyrmgate witch absorbed the magic but even it nearly couldn’t stop Rudy’s magic because his mana pool is so large his magic is very powerful same with the stone canon he always uses it is much much more powerful than an average magician. To give you an idea about how big his mana pool is laplace the demon god has about the same amount of mana as Rudy

You guys probably didn't notice this but rudeus knew he couldn't waste time healing himself after his lungs were crushed so he just used wind magic to force air into his lungs so he could still fight because if he tried to heal it would leave him exposed to another attack it's a cool detail I only noticed on the second watch

Rudeus isn't very proficient in healing magic, it is one of his great flaws. Also he isn't able to use it without saying the incantations.

Studio Bind was created with the intent of producing the anime adaptation of the entire work of Mushoku Tensei. They are not working on any other properties, devoted to the whole series. At the current pace, there is enough material for at least 4 seasons at ~24 episodes each (or 8 cours). There of course is no guarantee that they will be able to finish it, but they are already working on season 2 AND 3 currently. It is being well received, so I have faith that even if it was for some reason dropped by the Japanese broadcaster, another platform would snatch it up. We can expect years of excellent and entertaining Mushoku Tensei content to come.

As a novel reader, this is just to show you how strong the Seven Powers really are. Orsted in this episode, even with his curses holding him back, was able to kick the crap out of the main trio. His curses do play a role later down the line but what Hitogami(Man-God) said is totally true, for now at least. Of course, Hitogami is kinda sus. Think about it. Why would good people like Ruijerd have a curse on them? Or Orsted have soooo many curses on him? Then question EVERYTHING that Hitogami has said/done so far.

Turning point 1, strong dude almost kills Rudy, Ghislaine saves him. Then Random Teleport. Turning point 2, strong dude almost kills Rudy, Ruijerd and Eri unable to save him. Luckly he was spared. People say there are more Turning points.... Guess Rudy will almost die alot xD

Turning points are in essence, parts in mushoku tensei that create massive Butterfly Effects that change the dynamics of the story whenever they happen, as small extra spoiler, rudy is not in danger during turning point 3, and this is an advice DO NOT SPOIL YOURSELF, OTHERS OR ANYTHING ABOUT TURNING POINT 4, this goes to anyone reading this, do not spoil yourself of that, do not spoil others of it, and better read the full novel leading up to it

@@thomaszimmer371 not entirely precise, take the WN as a draft of the story, its fist version, and hte LN the merchandized and properly edited one, the light novel also has changed and added new parts that expand even more, for example, vol 7 of the LN is something totally new, it shows the 3 years of rudy between this point and before the school arc, as well later parts had contained more lore and info of other events and characters

The stone cannon he used was his strongest attack, Orsted barely could crush it and his hand ended messed a bit from it, take in mind, the man bare handledly stopped Ruijerd spear or eris sword but took damage from that stone cannon, its also impressive cus Rudy applied some science to it as he can kinda auto pilot when casting it, as its the spell he has used the most, he added grooves, like in bullets to it, with super rotation and all that while going in survival mode as he was losing conciousness

@@EliiKlee yes, and, the stone cannon is whats impressive here, because it managed to damage orsted, as in, deal real damage, since, if you notice, he parried and deflected ruijerd and eris attacks with his bare hands, if it were anyone normal, trying that would rekt your hands, yet Orsted was unaffected by those, but then the Stone cannon is so dense and strong it was able to go past his defense, teh fireball while also was strong, was a last ditch attack and orsted portal thing was absorbing rather than deflecting the spell, it just shows rudy having a big mana pool compared to the strenght his stone cannon shows
