Very nicely done!!! It's such a gorgeous piece.

Even in the 21st century, the piece sounds fresh - some interesting harmonies and dissonances that are unexpected. One can detect Dukas' and Debussy's influences, at times, but there's an originality in the music. It's a shame he did not live longer. One of my favorite compositions of his is the set of Indian Sketches for string quartet. This orchestra does a nice job of evoking the almost mystical quality of Griffes' vision.
