This is pretty entertaining. I would have liked to hear them take a shot at some other Beatles tunes; for instance, I reckon they could have done a decent version of "Come Together", or perhaps "Get Back". I do notice that Entwistle seems a little uncomfortable singing and playing bass at the same time, especially during "I Saw Her Standing There"; he seems to be thinking, "Bloody 'ell, how does McCartney make this look so easy?"

The best solo bassplayer , I know, mr. John Entwistle! Unforgetable. With mr. K. Moon he gives the Who a solid and unique rythem backbone! God have their souls. Of course, on this video 1982 there is no mr. Keith Moon. I talk in common about the beginning of this legendary group. Even after the dead of mr. Entwistle and mr. Moon the other members ( Pete and Roger!) watch over the musicaly "the Who identity!" British tradition.

Jonathan Newell I agree, their sound system was massive for this "82" tour and it was powerful as Townshend played fantastic guitar and I loved the way the arranged all the songs on this tour " it was Classic sounding WHO" - I saw The WHO September 25 "1982" JFK stadium Philadelphia PA - It was a concert for the ages and for my memory bank."

Thanks for posting. I am going to order the DVD but must point out this clip is not a medley. It is two full songs in succession. A medley usually involves a few songs linked together as one performance. Dictionary definition is "a piece of music combining tunes or passages from various sources" .... although often linked by a theme. e.g. A Beatles medley or songs from the shows. Medleys will usually use a verse or chorus or two before moving into the next song. The Who versions here are two full songs. In some medley's the original song is brought back at the end although this is optional......Apologies it is the Music Teacher coming out of me again.
