For real. I got to see Rush several times before they called it quits and Neil Peart passed away, I saw Tom Petty 2 months before HE passed away, and this summer I’ll be seeing Roger Waters for probably the last time.

Sorry to inform you that it's tracked. Still entertaining I guess. Late 70s here. Some crowds expect miracles.

The scream at the end was a combination of Roger doing it live, and the recorded scream from the Who’s Next album (I could hear the bit of scratchiness from the album). But hey, Rog is 78 - gotta cut him some slack here. The fact that he and Pete are out there doing it at all is a miracle in itself.

That was all live...if they used a backing track (which they don't) you wouldn't hear an "album"....they would use a tape. That's still all Roger!.

He hit the scream (7:47), and I think it was actually live! I was expecting either a debacle or something pre-recorded, but that sounded live, and sounded really good!

Roger sounds fine but the scream was not live. If you saw the concert for NYC *live* in 2001, the scream was an absolute train wreck. Trust me. I heard it live. It was subsequently overdubbed for video release. If Roger could not hit the scream *THEN* he sure as hell is not doing it over 20 years later at nearly age 80. Please get a grip on reality.

@@Better_Call_Raul Upon further review... I am willing to concede that it's very likely I was wrong and the scream is probably a mix of (mostly) a recording together with whatever he's still capable of at age 78. I let my enthusiasm for the band and the song get the better of my objective analysis. But I don't see why you need to be mean about it. 🤷‍♂

A few harsh comments on here.... but I think we just have to appreciate that the golden generation of rock/Pop pioneers are close to retirement or dare I say, the inevitable. I'm glad I've seen most of my musical heroes at least once live, and there's many of them. The Who, Stones, Hollies, Beach Boys all still exist with at least 2 original members and have existed for at least 60 years, (The Who slightly less). It's knowing when to call it a day - flagging performances, physical deficits or a significant band member's death. Only they will know when.

I watched this just to see if Roger could still hit the scream. Damn....he did. I am very impressed. It seems to weird to see him very old and that heavy since he was in such great shape in his heyday. I would not recognize him walking down the street. Looks like someone who would yell at me to get off his lawn....but he hit the scream. Kudos.

I don’t understand the harsh and critical comments. You obviously can’t go see The Who today and expect them to look and sound like they did 20, 30, 40 or 50 years ago. I realize it’s a bit of a backhanded compliment, like telling a woman that she looks good for her age. But given Roger and Pete’s age (78 and 77), I think they still look and sound pretty darn good. I’ve seen some embarrassing shows (think B.B. King at the end or Bon Jovi now), and to me, this isn’t embarrassing at all. As long as you have realistic expectations, I think The Who is still worth seeing and a treat for the fans that they’re still out there performing at, although certainly diminished from their prime, but at a still pretty remarkable level nearly 60 years later.

Roger sounds fine for his age but they need to use common sense and drop the key from A to G. Don't know why it is not done. Does Pete prefer playing the song in the original key? But make no mistake, Roger would sound much better and less strained if the key was dropped. And the audience would never know nor care.

I think it has a lot to do with the electric drums and other performers, when they did this back in 2019 the sound was awful too. I saw them in 2017 and blew the roof of the building in Atlantic City. Every video I watch from this tour and 2019 the drums sound awful.
