Pinos performance was perfect for the song. He's obviously capable of shredding the roof off of the My Generation solo (watch videos of him with dominic miller), but he plays it cool as to not step on the toes of Entwhistle. That's why this dude is the king. Plus he grooves like no other, and that solo was him. Not an imitation.

He should be an imitation. IT'S THE WHO! THEY SHOULD HAVE PACKED IT IN WHEN JOHN DIED. They have all the money in the world, what happens when Townsend goes, will it just be Daltry up there charging $250 a seat? It's all about the money now that's why the ONLY band I respect from that GENERATION is Led Zeppelin.

@@chrisk920 if a band chooses to keep going after losing key members of their sound, i'd much prefer them to work with what they've got instead of trying to roleplay as if they're still the same band they were. pino, while being polar opposite in terms of style to entwistle, did a great job considering the impossible task he was assigned

Pino does his thing, but he's in a no-win situation however trying to fill in for Entwistle. Meanwhile, Zak's also in a no-win situation, but somehow he manages to win. Dude should be a legend. It's too bad he wasn't on more of Endless Wire.

That is the best performance that Jools Hollands ever had on ,even though i would expect nothing less from The Who. Zack is the spirit of Moon R.I.P .Pino has bought something new to the band without doubt, only he could play Johns bass pieces making the Who a band again rathar than a duo, proper rock , i look forward to seeing them!! loved it

@r0m3r12 I'm afraid not anymore, the who seem past it, imo they should've given up a long time ago, though Entwistle was great to the end. Pino is always good though, and he shines here, not many would have the balls to reinvent this solo, never mind doing it so creatively, in a complete opposite direction, his solo is outstanding.

I think sometimes players will out of respect for the original material, change it up. Plus, John had such a unique style, wonder how many players can even do the Thunder Fingers style. It is also nice to see live performances on tv, rather then playing to a recorded track.

I have seen the Who many many times since the first time in 1971, and as much as I love them I will never see them again. Pino is a great musician, but totally wrong for this band. When I first saw him, it was the tour when Entwistle died, and he had a very short rehearsal time, so while I didn't like it, I didn't blame him. Saw them when they toured the new album and it was better I admit. Now he's settled in and he's just not right for The Who. Rogers voice is pretty much gone.. It's sorta sad
