The crazy drummer was Keith Moon. "Moon the Loon" was his nickname. Roger Daltrey, was one of my music crushes when I was growing up. He's a decent actor too.

If you watch any of the CSI shows, you heard the who. CSI "Las Vegas" "WHO ARE YOU," CSI Miami "WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN" , CSI New York "BABE O'REILLY"

They are all top-notch musicians and have huge personalities. This is my favorite version of this song. Roger’s voice on this one is a signature “The Who” sound.

The Who were the first ROCK group ever. So progressive. They were rocking out in 1964. Jimi Hendrix and The Who really began the whole genre. So influential.

Moon is a fantastic drummer, and very crazy. On a tv performance he put a quarter stick of dynamite in his drums without telling anyone, at the end of the song as the other members smashed their guitars he blew up his drums. Nearly killed himself.

Yeah they loved each other and seemed to have more fun together than just about any band ever, and yet The Who were also infamous for their bitter infighting that more than once came down to actual punches thrown. Pete and Roger back in the early days pretty much hated each other, but ironically they’re the only two originals still alive today and now they get along better than ever.

I'm surprised that you have not recognised that track. It was used as the opening theme for the popular TV crime show "CSI". In fact there are 4 CSI shows (CSI Miami, CSI New York & CSI Cyber) that all used songs from The Who.

Check out the movie or Rock opera “Tommy” with and by The Who. Great music, okay acting by Oliver Reed, Ann Margaret and Jack Nicholson and especially by Roger Daltrey. It was huge in the 70’s.

Great song by one of Britain's greatest ever bands. Keith Moon (drums) was one of rock music's true wild men. Pete Townshend is a great songwriter and guitarist. Roger Daltrey's vocals are excellent. And John Entwistle was possibly rock's finest ever bass player. Jst in case everyone hasn't already recommended it, "Won't Get Fooled Again" is a masterpiece of theirs (one of many... there's also "I can see for Miles", "Substitute", "Pinball Wizard", "See Me Feel Me", "Dreaming From the Waist", "5:15", "Magic Bus", "A Quick One While He's Away"...)

Not really. He was extremely innovative, which is one of the reasons few have even attempted to copy him over the years. Not many bands can handle having the drums played like a lead instrument lol
