Something pretty cool about the "trippy" part of the performance: when The Who performed this concert at Shepperton Studios for their film "The Kids Are Alright", the movie "Alien" was being filmed in the studio next door. The cast and crew of the Alien movie went over to watch The Who concert. They liked the laser show from the "trippy" part of the performance so much, they ended up borrowing the laser gear from The Who and used it in the movie. So the next time you watch Alien, keep an eye out for the lasers which were provided by The Who.

Bit of trivia that links 2 of my great passions, the WHO, and the film A L I E N In 1978 the WHO bought into Shepperton studios. At the time Ridley Scott was filming A L I E N They had to stop filming at one point due to the noise from the WHO filming this (I think some of the cast poked their nose round the door) See the section where roger is backlit by lasers and dry ice... In A L I E N, when Kane (John Hurt) falls into the "egg chamber" and there is "a layer of mist covering them... that reacts when touched..." Thats the WHO's lasers!

The Who was a part of the "British Invasion" which started with The Beatles. You should also check out " The Guess Who - These Eyes (Live)" They also have an extensive collection, another great rabbit 🕳️ great reaction 🎸🔥🤘🏼

"Baba O'Riley" is a great one by the who and so is "Who Are You" if you want this kind of energy, try to get them from this same concert, it's their best performance that I've seen! Thank you for letting me sit in with you today, I thoroughly enjoyed your reactions!
