Young man, you have this pond/ dam building thing dialed in quite nicely now with the addition of the 330 and the D7 to the fleet of equipment, it is fun to listen to your plans and what piece of equipment you are planning to use, and how you are going to use it then be able to see the plan executed. Its all well planned and executed, to me, its what makes for great video viewing, thanks for the update.

What a fun day of moving dirt. You really did build the dam today. Yesterday I was thinking "Wow, we haven't seen Kyle in quite some time". Lo and behold, here he is! I think it was neat that he was with you when you bought the 330 and he now gets to use her. What lovely coordination among the 3 of you to get the dam built, I so enjoyed it. Thanks, Chris, for sharing this wonderful video.

Don’t know how anyone could watch this video and think it’s boring. You don’t see many young men like, Chris that can get in any equipment and pretty much master it in a few minutes. As always great video, Chris. Thanks for sharing.

Watching you digging through the layers of dirt really gets me wondering, how long it took for those layers to be deposited, and how beyond my imagination is the thousands of years it did take. I love that feeling about the actual earth.

I have the same thoughts when looking at geologic cross sections - how many different climates and events have occurred over millions of years. I live on the Canadian Shield, and the rock cuts along the highways sometimes look like a candy factory has layered and twisted taffy - so many different types all in the same place.

Definitely a joy watching Chris building ponds and explaining how he does it and what it takes. It's incredible how much the D7 and 330 has speaded up his moving dirt and debris. They make an already enjoyable serie an even more enjoyable one. Between Chris and Mike Dirt Perfect they always improve my day.

FYI, you can get the freon in by putting it in a jug of "hot" (120-130 Deg f) water when the system is off That will give you a can pressure around 170 psi. and the entire system is at or near ambient temp. Also, turn the can upside down while doing this. DO NOT turn the can upside down if you are charging it with engine running. That can lead to a busted compressor.

Since the D-7 is a former Army Bulldozer I notice it has a rife rack built in, the rectangular hole to the right of your right foot is to hold the butt of the rife and "L" shaped bracket above secured the top of the rifle.. I do not know if you knew that or not...I so enjoy your video's. Thanks

I wish you had this red clay from down the road, They have been hauling dirt out of this location for over a year, with dump trailers pulled by custom blinged out tractor trucks. The big dump trucks like Jon's and the guys that haul your gravel were moving with the truck and trailers. From sunup, until sundown, or a little later after fall back times, 5 days a week. I was headed out about 1:30pm and had 6 trucks, 3 headed back empty and 3 following me full. They used to be going to Dallas, North Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Prosper and now to Texas Instruments in Sherman for a HUGE Expansion for wafer growth to cut off dependence from China. This Red Dirt is like what you dug out of the borrow pit for the house pad. Our road to town is so BAD, the truck drivers move over for a better ride, but now, there is NO GOOD PAVEMENT. The previous patches are beat out. Got to be good for all the millions of TON's pulled out of the ground. This originally was scrub brush and not good development land. Another dirt pit has opened last year and pulling great red dirt/clay out. Never thought there was that much beautiful dirt/clay sitting underneath me. Wished I was close enough for several loads of good red dirt for you and Mike, He has hit issues with ROCK, BIG ROCK for his DAM, DAM,

Didn't look that deep of a pond until the 330 went off the edge of the hill onto the pond bottom and the shoreline was about even with the top area of the excavator. And the middle of the pond is that much lower where the 7 is at, so yeah. Looks like it's going to be three acres worth of water in a one acre pond.
