I worked for Wilbert Vault back in the early 80s in Illinois and winter was a rough time to do this work, we took pride in what we did like it was our own family member.

I stayed at both my parent's burials for the backfill. It was just a closure thing for me. For my dad I stayed for when the compactor was brought in to compact the earth on my dad's grave. It was just something I wanted to see.

Idk what state your location, I've only caught a couple of your videos. I live in Maryville Tennessee. I have a grave plot in Monroe county Tennessee. In a memorial grave yard. I inquired about having a natural burial. I was told if have to have a vault. So if you could ever read this and know the state laws for Tennessee, unless it the grave yard rules. In Christ Greg from Maryville Tennessee.. I was a hairdresser for 35 years and offered my clients there first haircut free if a baby and the last time is when you pass I did that free. I only remember once that was prepaid funeral.. That I ever changed the family. When if they weren't my clients.

If the vault seals when the lid is on it then how do you get it to the cemetery without it sealing up?? That is a beautiful vault

Why does it matter which way a vault is placed? The way the casket is placed is the important part right? (Body facing east?)

Worked at Wilbert for 15 years...1994 to 2009......Jessup Pa....I have done countless set ups like this through the years and in my opinion...pointess....everyone should be cremated and stop filling the ground with vaults and preserving the body...FOR WHAT...Especially with liners or monarchs which 90 percent of the time are filled with water within a week Especially in the northeast where I worked....many disentermement with the vault filled with water to the top..

Collasal waste of money! An expensive vault like that serves absolutely no purpose other thankeeping the grave from settling.

If the family wanted to spent the money, then it's no one's business how much money was spent.

@@joefranks4235 I just don't understand why anyone goes to the expense unless they're very rich. But plenty of middle class families will spend like $20k on a funeral. Well that won't be the case for me, or anyone I have to decide these plans for in the future.
