In this video I test your knowledge of Spanish Wine with ten questions.
The format of the questions are similar to what you could expect in a WSET examination and therefore will be useful if you are studying or if not, JUST FOR FUN!

6/10 - ouch, I need to read up on producers. Great quiz though! And because this is the internet and we like to nitpick, it's pronounced, "AH-mon-TEE-Ah-Doh" as it means "in the style of Montilla." Amontadillo, fun fact, means a mountain of armadillos. /sarcasm

Got 9/10- haven’t really studied sherries since there not my thing but, living in Málaga, I guess that it’s an obligation. BTW it’s pronounced Ru a dah, not Ru ee dah. Thanks for the quiz!

Question 1 doesn't specify reds or rosés and whites

It doesn't have to it. The term is applicable to the wine, not the colour of the wine

I thought reserva red was aged 12 months in oak while rosés and whites aged 6 months in oak at any level. Did the laws change?

@@TheGrapeExplorer It does appear that reds have different oak and general aging requirements than rosés and whites. There are also longer requirements in specific DOs. www.winesfromspain.org.cn/en/aging-regulations
