The 2024 British Grand Prix is done and what a race. Legends (and Norris) on the podium, Hamilton Redemption, Max overperforming, Lando Norris. The rain was the best part since the changeable conditions made the race so much more tense. So without any further ado, let's discuss who were the winners and losers of this year's British Grand Prix.

only mistake leclerc did this race was the strategy, i dont know if it was him or ferrari who had the strategy, but before the first round of pit stops he had caught up to sainz before ferrari strategy kicked in

Yeah true but also looking at quali it wasn’t exactly his best outing but for sure Ferrari are yet again to blame for his bad results. (I’m so close to giving up)

I think one of the losers was Oscar again another Podouim was gone because of no double stack Mercedes did the double stack and would have had a great result so hats off to them . Mclaren got to get their Crap together in strategy unlike 2012 when it was reliability pace was good

At this point it is just beyond sad to see what perez is doing week after week. According to sky, the contract he signed has a clause that he needs to be within 100 points of max by the summer break, if not there is a way for red bull to terminate the contract. it was not made clear if that means immediate or after the season. but it will be interesting to see what drama unfolds during the break and if perez is still in the red bull seat by the next race. If i could, i honestly would kick him right now. if they dont, they might loose the constructors due to his performance. 100% agree with mid driver of the day!

But that’s the thing, would they risk putting another driver in Red Bull while the constructors battle is going on or do they admit defeat and drop him for 2025? Personally I’d stick with Checo but drop him for next year and take yuki or Liam, maybe even Daniel too at this point

@@F1-Duck1 Thing is the difference in prize money from first to second is 9m $. You dont just surrender that kind of money. On top of that, most contracts for factory staff is heavily tied to bonuses based on constructors ranking. which means checo is not very popular among the team right now. imagine you work for red bull in the factory and you might miss out on thousands of dollars bonus salary because one of the drivers is not able to keep the car on the road. understandable they are pissed. and if the staff at the factory starts to get annoyed it can spiral out of control in terms of car development and overall work culture. in my opinion the only thing checo has going for himself right now is the massive sponsorship backing he has. but i doubt his sponsors will throw 10m$ + at red bull just for checo to keep his seat for 12 more races.
