Vesemir should have been resurrected as technically; Ves, Keira, Ciri, Geralt, Lambert, Olgierd, etc, etc could already be dead at this point. 🤷 Although he is the only one you can’t save in the game, all the others depend on the players choices. 🦘🦘🦘

@@kingofheavymetal Dude, I know TW1 combat system is outdated as fuck, but the whole story kept me playing like crazy right in the middle of Chapter one back in 2016, since then I played it three times after that, and I gotta say, it hits way differently after you play it once you read all the books. Finally, this piece of art is getting a remake for PC and Consoles, I really hope everyone gets to see how amazing and beautiful the first game is, :D

Bugs and other issues: If you use Aerondight and find another silver sword, the tooltip that compares these two will show that the other sword does (depending on its level even MUCH) more base damage than Aerondight. This comparison is wrong, because the calculation doesn't factor in all the extra base damage Aerondight does if you keep levelling it up! Aerondight is the best silver sword in the game. The Acquired Tolerance skill istn't working when you start the NG+ run. For some reason, the max toxicity will be lower in NG+ than it was in your save you used to start the run. The only solution here is to unequip and reequip the skill. If you use this skill you should check this after your little chat with Vesemir and the first fight against the ghouls. Note, I haven't used Aerondight or Acquired Tolerance since the next gen update, so I can't say if these two bugs are still in the game. But, better safe than sorry, I guess. The third bug is still in the game, though. Sometimes you have to craft alchemy items before you can kill the moster.. One of these quests you get from the ship builders right next to the Kaer Trolde Harbor fast travel sign. Thing is, you will still have the drowner pheremons from your previous run in your inventory, and that prevents you from crafting them again and finishing the quest . So, just throw them them away and the quest can work properly. One more issue will be coin. All the loot you find will be of much higher level, and will be worth much, much more coin. But, the smiths and other vendors don't have much, much more coin... Sadly, there is no easy fix for that, besides probally mods, or just not looting all the time. I can't myself bring to kill the bandits and not looting them, though. Here are some tips how to deal with that: First, I only repair my gear at a blacksmith, and I check before I do that, if the coin I pay to repair my equipped gear is enough to sell another weapon to him. Second, I just waste time, using meditation or fast travel (to White Orchard, to Vizyma, back to the smith) so that the smiths have more money again. Third, I always unlock Skellige early on, because there are quite a few smiths with good coin. So, I fast travel again, but somewhat in a circle visiting several black smiths to be able to sell all the loot. In Velen/Novigrad only Hattori has enough coin to buy a decent number of swords, but you have to unlock him first, of course. Before that, I mostly sell to the armorer at Hierach Square (top notch swords!). Fergus and the master armorer in crows Perch also have good coin, but they don't pay nearly as much as the black smiths in Novigrad or Skellige, you have to unlock them first (starting Baron main quest) and they are nowhere near a fast travel sign if you haven't finished all of Velen main quest! Coin is the most annyoing part of NG+, but at least you will end with a few 100k in the end, lol.

Preparations: First, all the preparations for most if not all builds. Alchemy: Craft all the decoctions, and get all the potions, bombs and oils to the highest level. Buy all the alchemy recipes for Acquired Tolerance (runes and glyphs don't count!). Level Aerondight up! I explained the route I use in the video in witch you got AD in the first place. The extra benefit of this route is the mutagens you can loot from all these drowners. Speaking of mutagens: Make sure you have enough greater (red!) mutagens in your inventory to unlock all mutations. After you got all the decoctions you don't need the named mutagens anymore, so you can use the alchemy table in your house to turn them into normal lesser mutagen. If that is not enough you can use the herbs from your greenhouse to change a few greater blue or green mutagens into greater red ones. And then there is still the option to farm mutagens, witch shouldn't take too long thanks to the gift Regis left in your bedroom! If you really want to min-max, you can check if you missed a Place of Power, but that isn't necessary. All the Places of Power will be loaded again in your NG+ run anyway. So far all of the preparations didn't cost a lot of coin or other resources, so I recommend to make a save after that, just in case you want to play another run with a complete different build, so you can use the same resources again. Craft, buy or find the gear you need for your build. Get the rune-and glyphwords you want, and fill the remaining slots with glyphs as well. Get the potion that gives you all your ability points back from your skills. I do NOT recommend to get the other potion as well, that gives you the ability points back you put into the mutations. You have to unlock all of them anyway, and you don't get your mutagens back, so you need even more greater mutagens again. It doesn't matter if you still miss a few skills to complete your build, because how superior your Geralt will be at the beginning anyway, and how easy it is to get more points quickly (Places of Power). Just unlock if you haven't already the mutation you want to use in your build, and use the remaining ability points to fill up as many skill slots as possible. After that, there is still a bit of housekeeping to do: Empty your inventory, you don't need to carry around any junk, runes, glyphs or even repair kits when you walk around anyway. Maybe a couple of repair kits are a good idea, though, when you play long dungeons like the one with Keira in Velen. But other than that you probally want to repair your gear at a black smith anyway to sell more swords. On the other hand, you should put all the stuff you want to keep into your stash! For example the shield from the tourney, the paintings of Geralt, the etching of the little girl you saved or certain swords or armor sets. You can decorate your house later using both the stuff from your normal and your NG+ playthoughs! That is it: Make a save, go to the main menu, and use this save to start NG+!

There is one more thing to mention, though. Since the Next Gen update the legendary witcher gear will give you the Grand Master buff from the very first level of the set! In theory, you can switch to a different build mid playthrough now, just keep in mind that you still need to level up to be able to use the gear, and that you need to unlock the rune wright again as well. You can also just switch out the gear you use for the legendary versions, without having to wait till you reach Toussaint again and be able to wear the legendary grand master version of the set you use. Note, that the legendary wolf school gear is locked in Kaer Morhen, and you have to do all the main quest before you can even reach this place. Another thing to keep in mind is that the runewright will still be about 20 level above you, if you want to switch to the legendary griffin school gear. The only real fight to unlock him are against the spiders in the cave to get the jade. If you prepare for this fight (crowd control!), you should be able to do this fight. One tip: If the spiders get you with their web attack, you can still parry with your sword! Ufff... I hope I haven't missed anything! 😉 Good luck and have fun!
