The game of my life...

Choice driven games are the best, to me. Even if there are a "set" number of endings, you still get that feeling like you've crafted your own specific ending of the game, rather than a completely linear experience.

It's funny that i had the exact same reaction as you to the ending, all confused and depressed after I thought she died and when I saw her I was screaming with tears of joy. I clapped after the ending too 😂😂

“I’m too sad to help you.” Hahaha true. I had the exact same reaction as her. When I arrived at Velen and saw the burning sunset, it was like the END. The peasants on the road doesn’t matter. Nothing will ever matter. Ciri died and a part of Geralt died with her. That was just heartbreaking and I almost wanted to shut the game and cry myself to death.

"Witcher, I do not wish to see you... ever again." At least we parted ways with the Emperor with a mutual understanding

Triss is the prefered choice for many normal people (the player maybe), but Geralt isn't normal... He's the ying to Yen's yang, their fates have always been intertwined. Plus Pricilla's song says it all, and doesn't go... "To dream of ginger lock's entwisted, stormy, Of green-ish eye's glistening as you weep"😂... She also took advantage of Geralt's amnesia - he forgot about his Yen and she slept with him anyway.. Whilst knowing he was in love and involved with Yennifer... (A pleasant way of taking advantage of someone... but still dirty and selfish). Yen is Prickly, but she has good reason and truly loves Geralt + vice versa. I love her sassy / bitchiness and so does Geralt - he even states so in game when he asks her to never change after she gets snarky. Phew 😥 sorry for the essay. All in all we're all entitled to our opinions. Some people think Shani is the best choice.

I did fast travel too, but had geralt rode to the tavern you would've seen something.

got the ciri as empress ending... would have preferred this, but all in all empress was also reasonable and I also got a few sweet father/daughter kinda moments... the thing I just notice now is that Ciris sword is the same one from the intro, right?

would love it if you play both EXPANSION of the Witcher 3....BLOOD AND WINE and HEARTS OF STONE, STORY WISE both better than the main Story. you would love it for sure

You did know that Roach can "auto-track" the path he/she's on, right? As long as you're in the basic direction of where you want to go, Roach is pretty much hands-free unless you come across a sharp fork in the road, then you've only to tap in the direction. Took me almost 1/3rd of a playthrough on my first time through the game before I learned that. OH! An use Quen when you've accidentally set yourself on fire for whatever reason. Quells the flames instant.

She also can die or become empress depends on your game choices and there are many endings. I always used to play hearths of stone before i complete the main story then i do blood and wine addon i thinks thats the correct timeline for the final ending.

The fact that she still has the griffin trophy attached makes me think she hasn't touched the wit her contracts... Shame

well time to replay the game because i got the crappiest ending when i played this game . My first play Ciri died my second playthrough Ciri left to be a queen dammit i never got this ending.

You chose...wisely. Dad let her go, trusting her choices, because he taught her well. That is the lesson of The Witcher.

I'm so happy that some1 with reactions beated the game....now you have only 60 hours of expansions left...both are awesome but Blood and wine

It all depends on the choices you make regarding Ciri throughout the game. Enough negative ones, she walks into the ice and dies...you meet Dandelion at White Orchard and it ends. Middle course, you meet Ciri...have a snowball fight, remember...and then Imperial troops arrive and Ciri...the new Empress of Nilfgaard has to say goodbye...not as romantic as the witcher ending but ...all in all, probably better for more ordinary people. She makes a good Empress. Or you can back her all the way, make almost all the positive choices...and you get this ending...Ciri the witcher. No Trial of the Grasses, but she makes up for it with her Elder Blood powers. CDPR story telling...your actions determine the futures.

so.....geralt retires as a boy toy for triss who supports them both.......I can see much more terible endings to his story....
