I am hurdy gurdy player, but quite new in learning this having-a-soul instrument. I'm a big fan of the cycle of books by Andrzej Sapkowski and game The Witcher Wild Hunt from CD Project Red, so I really wanted to do something like that. So I recorded Hurdy Gurdy cover of Gwent medley, the list of soundtracks from the card game.
Original track belong to Marcin Przybyłowicz and Percival.
Thanks to the Thomas Jonker channel for piano tutorial.

When I learned what a hurdy gurdy was I realized it was my favorite part of the witcher 3 soundtrack. And this video was the first one I saw when I looked for more. I was inspired and my nerdy gurdy kit will be here in two weeks :) Thank you!

@@theangeredcat247 keep the practice. Two whole playthroughs I don't even bother to play, and then... now I go from town to town to play Gwent, and if I have some spare time, fullfil a contract or two.

Seriously, winning at gwent is pretty easy, just use a lot of spies and foltest.

I recently found our what a hurdy gurdy was and it was used in the Witcher 3 music. Wasn't too sure, so I decided to find this video to demonstrate! I have to say I've learned something new today. A hurdy gurdy might look confusing but damn, that's some skillful playing.

This one built Mihhail Efremov from Russia, Tver. But building diy-instrument by yourself is much more interesting, need to be open to experiments! (I would really like to) :)
