I remember when I first encountered letho in the witcher 3. I played Witcher 2 and saw him in the trailer so I knew he was in the game. I was just randomly doing some contracts one day and, to my surprise, there he was. Easily one of the coolest/most memorable moments I've ever had in a game

I love how this game manages to fit so many different "genres" into it's quests. From high fantasy; gothic terror and here we have essentially a Western. Such great fun and so well made.

Letho's expressions are just gold! Seems like the authors put in extra effort at fleshing them out, compared to those of most other characters.

Was so awesome to see Letho again. I let him live in Witcher 2 because even tho he killed Foltest who seemed like a decent King and was working for Nilfgaard, he had done Geralt a bunch of solid favors in the past and was forced to work for Nilfgaard just like Yennifer. So I did not get the final boss battle but it's what I wanted for the characters, and then he comes back in witcher 3 and even joins your team. So cool!

Letho is perhaps the most loyal witcher ever to the cause. He literally burned the world to save his school, and he would always be reluctant to fight geralt even when you intend to bring him to justice. And on top of that he's a genious on steroids which is one of the most awesome character designs ever.

Thank you Fluffy for your excellent videos :) Btw, I love Letho. He's a badass darling. I could never kill him in Witcher 2. And when people start snapping at him at Kaer Morhen, I feel like bitchslapping everyone whenever they make a remark. The continuation of my "rant" contains spoilers. Letho has incredible survival instinct, high intelligence, would do anything for those he considers friends, extremely skilled in his profession... Also, he's probably stronger than Geralt. At the end of Witcher 2 you can kill him just because Geralt's story has to continue. He already beat Geralt mid-game, and not only did he let him live, but saved his woman - again, though it was Triss this time (when the Wild Hunt took Geralt, he cared for Yennefer even though she was a major pain in the ass), that is if you decide to either rescue Anais or lift the curse from Saskia, whichever path you took. And in Witcher 3, he gets into confronting the Wild Hunt for Geralt again, this time fighting to save Ciri - even though everyone are shunning him and generally treating him like crap. However you look at it, Letho is there to help Geralt whenever his beloved ones are in danger - depending on whether you're a friendly character and play your cards right with good ol' viper. If you ditch him, he'll go his own way without a fuss. If you're there for him, he'll give his all to help you. Yeah, he has a bad rep of being a vicious killer. But he does nothing randomly. Just like he said: "You wanna kill me, but you don't even know me." In short, in my modest opinion, Letho is embodiment of coolness :D

Honestly im glad the decisions i made in previous witchers to keep as many folk alive as possible. I honestly saw what letho was right from the get go and spared him cause of circumstances i understood. Glad to fight along side him and be "somewhat friends" Witcher's gotta stick together like the good old days It's exactly a throw back to the witcher 1 pen ultimate boss fight. Rest in peace Berengar, you died like a true warrior.

This game amazing history. I noticed that letho is worried here maybe because he is in dangerous and he thought that after his mission of killing the kings in the witcher 2 he could live a good peacefull life. Now he ask for Geralt's help and of course i helped my camarade

What's coolest, Witcher 2 theme is playing in the background when Geralt meets Letho.

Letho is not only a badass, but he also seems morally sound(in relation to most of the characters). Seems like the one other living Witcher that Geralt enjoys.

When he appeared in Witcher 2, you were supposed to hate him but as the story progresses youre slowly having simpathy on him. Hes one of the most developed characters in the franchise. Its like he would take his life for the sake of Geralt he even protected Yen whatever conciquences are. He also never even crossed in his mind that Geralt would be a foe. This is an example of hardwork and passion of the game devs, writers and staffs. Also you would hate him the moment he kidnapped Triss but take note he didnt meant harm he just want a faster transportation. Then if you think about it it's actually Triss's fault that she left in the protection of those kind trolls and she wouldnt have caught. I like Triss but the decision making for her path is quite all about endangering her.

Wouldn't want to be the horse that has to carry Letho.

Letho make us know one thing, never do the dirty job for a politician and never trust any words from them.

Lethos appearance in this game just makes this game even better. Best game I've ever played. Shit I just got done beating new game plus. Shits a lot harder than the first playthrough

Letho is one badass assassin. Kinda wish there could be a Witcher stealth game with Letho as the protagonist. Like Styx: Shards of Darkness, but in the Witcher universe.

i love geralts interactions with fellow witchers, witchers have a hard life, they are reviled and hated simply for being different and despite the fact they risk their lives to provide a service people, would just as happily spit in their face. i feel sympathetic for letho wanting a place where the remaining witchers could live out their lives without fear of persecution. unfortunately, i feel as if that idea has come to late, what with the purges caused by the printing of the monstrum, war, loss of the secrets of the mutations (that ones complicated) and various rebellious schools being wiped out for going against the code (school of the cat and viper) there really isnt enough witchers left to justify lethos actions, theres 5 known living wolf school members, although its implied that there is at least another 2-3 roaming the world, the griffin school has a few members floating around as does the school of the cat. including letho, that makes what less than a dozen witchers in the north? maybe that again in nilfgaard? not really enough. the time of the witcher has come to an end

I'm playing on PC, imported my save from Witcher 2 where I spared him, but I still got the 'The Fall of the House of Reardon’ quest instead. Is this a glitch or do you have to explicitly go out of the way to tell Morvan Voorhis (who I had no reason to trust at that point) that Lethos isn't dead?

So I'm not alone in my non-hatred for Letho huh? He always seemed like he was in a position that any other witcher, including Vesemir but especially Lambert, could have been in during the story of Assassins of Kings, and just pitted against me (Geralt) by coincidence. I didn't kill him in any of my plays through AoK, except once just to see how bad the fight would be (very) and then re-loaded and chose to leave him in peace. I always thought I was in the vast minority for not disliking him. He kinda reminds me of what Dykstra might have been like as a Witcher.

Awsome idea: spinoff game, play as letho from the witcher 2 kill kings and fight geralt. Then later get offered to stay at the witcher school, help geralt defend it. To sum it up play letho side of the story even start with a prequel with references to the witcher 1
