After just finishing its third season, Netflix's popular fantasy series The Witcher has left fans wondering when they may return to The Continent.
When the show returns, there will be one significant change: Liam Hemsworth, who played Geralt in The Hunger Games, will take over for Henry Cavill in the title character. This casting choice has been met with some early criticism.

No one beats the original cast. Its has its own signature. Netfllix should understand that. If they replaced Henry Cavill, they would be bombarded by criticism. Of course if saving dollars is their priority they would push what they have plan.

This shows gonna plummet if fans have any form of common sense, and as a show of solidarity i think yennifer and ciri should flip it on its head and quit, i know its a huge ask but im not watching liam hemsworth pretend to be the witcher when we've invested so much time into these characters just cause the writers are morons

Every video I've seen has pointed out every flaw and more in season 2 and 3. It's called the witcher, and the witcher barely appears in the show cause Girl power woooo

The Witcher is NOT the Witcher if Henry Cavill is leaving!! This is BS…as far as I’m concerned the producers can jump through the Monolift Portal and NEVER come back! So disappointed the producers lost Henry…I will not be watching Season 4 unfortunately it is ruined for me! Liam maybe a good actor and may play the role well..But that is not who The Witcher is!

I'm not watching it without Henry Cavil. It's been years of these writers with no integrity having no respect for the source material, and I'm done with it. People need to stand up against this nonsense, so this ridiculous trend ends quicker. This trend of modern feminists imbuing every show/movie with toxic femininity has become a problem for us fantasy/sci- fans. And what makes it so much worse is that if we comment about it we're called misogynists. This needs to stop. It's also so extremely hypocritical and devious of them. They have become the very thing they hated in men. The stories used to have great women and men as characters, not this all-woman casting and repeating theme of demeaning men that we've seen for years now. Equality would equally represent male and female, not one or the other. This trend is creating more cultural problems than helping. Hollywood needs to stop lazily shoving their political crap into their productions, because it breaks all emersion and is creating more division and culture wars. Also, good writers with skill and care can put a parable that's uplifting for the world into a story that still have a great plot, world building, and character development. This is just fan fiction surface level writing that uses virtue signaling as a shield so people can't critique it when it's not good.
